(Possibly Misdated)
Cinnema was reunited with a sister she hadn't known to survive until yesterday! All the time that had passed, and who would've guessed? And they'd picked right back up as if they hadn't been apart since they were pups. All seemed good in the world. But still it remained the introduction of Hadlee to the rest of the pack as she'd stated she wanted. Cin was worried. But it had to be done sometime. They did want to stick together, and she wasn't about to leave the pack.. The girl's red ears pressed forward as she would come to lead aforementioned sister to the den, having spent the night nearer the edge of the territory. Cin was awake and seemed to be well, alert and tail level with spine as she approached. Buut..something was different. Not something she had noticed yet, but slight stomach bulge was beginning to present itself. Oop. Maybe they'd notice, maybe not. Cin would turn her head, assuming Hadlee was behind her, to put her chin atop her head possessively, a quick lick accompanying it, while looking for the other wolves.
Hadlee. The woman followed after with quite confident steps. While they spent the night together, it was only a matter of time before she would have to meet the rest of the ccrew. Hadlee knew all too well that she was in for something interesting. The man was what she feared the most. Still, the woman moved forward with cautious steps, sticking close to her sister's side. All her mind could run through was what would happen once this group caught sight of her and caught sight of her sister. While there was no submission shown, there was no aggression hidden behind her actions. Insteadd, she lowered her head, offering a lick to her sister's chin as she was offered her own affection The bodies of those around gave her quite the look of uncertainty. Still, she kept her dull eyes on the woman's body, speaking only in a hushed tone for her. "Well...?"
Zodiak had been rather inactive today, lounging just outside the den. He felt a little more comfortable today than he did previously. Probably due to his interactions with Drak. Head twisted 'round so he could lick at his shoulder. It was still a little sore but nothing that would affect the pup if his scheduled fight came sooner than scheduled. He groaned at the thought, not really ready for all that. Ears pricked at the approach of the other female, who seemed to have an unfamiliar face with her. Zodi rose to all fours and slowly padded towards them, stopping a wolf's distance from them. "hey" he offered, knowing that even if she didn't like him he'd be nice to her. She'd have to warm up eventually right? Eyes shifted to the odd bulge in her side and then to the female that acompanied her before his attention was once again on Cin. Ears shifted to the side, "does drak know..?" he questioned quietly, his question presented to not only the guest, but what zodi thought he saw.
Vadimir, after the joyful bout between him and brother dearest, had dropped into a light, fitful slumber. Sleep was when Vad felt most vulnerable, and as such was when he was on his most alert. This of course meant he rarely ever got to feel solid, uninterrupted sleep. But that was hardly any of his concern right then, especially when voices intruded on his mental wanderings, forcing him to awaken with a toothy yawn and a stretch of form. Rubbing grit from his eyes... was this sleep or gore from yesterday? Who knew. Pushing his paws beneath himself Vadimir rose and stared off toward Cinn and the stranger. Brows furrowed. The fuck was this? Paws guiding him over toward the congregation he'd aim to press his nose into Cinn's scruff, hoping to find details on what she'd been up to in her time away. Her baby bump was entirely unregistered, surprise surprise. He was more concerned with WHO DAFUQ WAS THIS WOMAN??
Cinnema gave a light tail wag to her sister before the others began to move and approach, green eyes first landing on the boy she was yet unsure of. He seemed like he wasn't injured in the slightest, and still confident and upright. Hm, then he must not have gotten to his fight with Drakov yet. Good luck to him when he did, Cin wouldn't be surprised if nothing was held back during that. But, that was to be seen, and for now focus shifted between the two. His question went right over her head, obviously thinking he was talking about Hadlee and not the bump of her abdomen. Was he that concerned with what Drak would think? Huh he seemed paranoid. "She just showed up, so no," was her reply, before Cin's green gaze shifted to Vadimir as he approached, tail lowering itself a lil' out of habit. His touch was only a little surprising and she wasn't sure about it, but she let it happen. "It seems more than one pair of siblings have shown up in this place," she'd slightly smile. Seriously, was Cascades magic? "Hadlee, this is Vadimir and Zodiak." A nod toward each as she made introductions. "My sister Hadlee wishes to stay here, with me, with us," she said toward Vadim cautiously, slight tilt of her head. At the moment.. It seemed all was well. But perhaps that was influenced by the obvious way she leaned slightly toward her sister, possessive, watchful. As long as they behaved then all would be good, right?
Hadlee stood as the others approached. There was no recognition on her face that fear clenched at her, but it was there hidden behind the emotionless mask that she offered up. As the young boy came by, a brow was raised only for her attention to be stolen by another. Perhaps this was one of the ones that her sister had worried over. Caution graced her stance as she watched the man. While he floated over to her sister, a protective glance was thrown his way. No matter, she dropped her head when introductions were made. A clear and calm voice rang out rather easily from there. "It's a pleasure." Despite her interest in the young boy and his state, she knew better than to look away from the large man who stood so close to her. Instead, those dull eyes kept focus on the man, watching each of his movements.
Zodiak sighed lightly at cin's response. She didn't get it, but that was fine he guessed, wasn't really his business anyways. Ears perked and quickly lowered as vad joined the little get together. Zod took a step back from cin, having not really spoken to vad since their first meeting. Gaze shifted to Hadlee as she was introduced, his tail swayed a little before going limp as he pressed his nose forward to investigate. The pup kept his head low more in respect to vad than anything as he stepped closer to hadlee to be able to pick up her scent better. Tail wagged again and the boy shifted to the side, his nose following along her side before rudely pressing under her belly. Hey he was a pup and lacked some of his... manners. Just sniffin thats all
Vadimir withdrew when he'd gotten a good few tokes of information. It didn't tell him the whole story, but it did paint a fairly clear picture. And from there the sky's the limit, right? Even while Cinn spoke and gave everyone a round of introductions, Vadimir was already in the process of shifting attentions onto the newcomer, duplicating his earlier action, inhaling deep Hadle's scent. Muzzle would wrinkle as he stepped back from her then, eyes alighting upon Zodi as he appeared, for the moment, innocently curious about the two women. "She vants to stay vith you," He grunted shortly, voice in it's typical hushed, deep resonance, "But doez she dezerve to?" Vadimir had accepted Nida and Cinn only in part. They were fond toys of his brother's, thus he'd allowed their presence. But beyond this they'd yet to give himany reason to think they were of any use, besides occasional entertainment. And if this sister of Cinn's was equally helpless... Vadimir's ears lowered as one canine exposed itself to the air, and he'd take a step back. Depending on their answer to his question, Vadimir was still most likely to demand that. If this was really what she wanted. "Hadlee, vaz it? Come here." He'd await for her to comply, and should she come, he'd place himself close, though body language wasn't at all threatening. Rather, it was stiff. Stiff in curiosity for how she would respond. "Vot are you willink to do...?" They wanted to be together, be happy siblings reunited in their little family. Kinda like Drak and Vad, no?
----drak
Drakov: Today turned into quite the early morning! He'd gotten enough meat on his bones now that travel had ceased and regular meals were consumed.. Even if most were smaller prey, easily obtainable. It was something. So, just as the sun had peaked over the horizon pale male had taken to the river. A nice drink, a swim and a bath, before he was back at the den and... Attention found it'self lingering across the mountain edge that formed there home. He'd clawed his way up the structure and and traveled across the rocky formation. Though it was originally all for the sake of curiosity, he'd found himself quit the prize along the way! A bighorn sheep, though young and.. not so big-horned at the momment. A dangerous endeavour, at that. But pfft. He was in better shape and he intended to act apon it! Fuck this sitting around bullshit. It was only erking his nerves. Jaws died crimson, and a hunk of flesh dragging by clamped teeth he'd slowly creep his way back home until at long last, ear tufts twitched to the sound of familiar voices. Gaze shifted to the corner of his eyes in attempt to look but he couldn't turn enough to get a good loook. Hrm.. Body shifted, one good heave ho offered before the lump of carcass was tossed off the edge of the rocky formation to land off to the side of the group. Thoroughly pleased, he'd bounded across the rock only to stop atop the den's entrance at the sight of an unfamiliar. Toothy smirk faded almost instantly, and tongue flicked across his lips. What have we here? Oh how tempted her was to intervene, but... apon further examination. . It seemed brother dearest had it handled. Or so he hoped. Though likely noticed by now, he simply flopped down onto the rock and hungs his paws over the side, head leaning forward to get a better view of what was going down before jumping into the scene. Dinner and a show?
Cinnema had been worried about her sister staying here for a very specific reason. These boys were assholes. Though Hadlee didn't appear to be too worried about how things were going now, you never knew.. Cin's eyes followed the child as he approached, eyes narrowing a little. Did she trust him yet? Nope. If her sister hadn't acted the pale woman would shift her position around to more noticeably curl her lip and give him a quiet warning growl. But her attention was stolen by Vad again, as she was honestly more concerned with him, before she could react to nose being stuck into sister's side. Cin would meet Vadimir's gaze briefly before dropping. "She will," or, she'd prove herself to be here. It was a simple answer, but. After the years had gone by, honestly they didn't know each other very well at the moment. Cinnema stiffened, fur on her back visibly raising, when he asked that Hadlee go to him, but she didn't question.. Instead she rubbed her cheek against family member's, eyes straying up to where the other Russian brother had just appeared with a kill. Mmmm. She'd look for a moment before looking back down to see what would happen.. Worry having her shifting her weight between her two paws to distract herself from the uncomfortable feeling in her gut. She did not like this in the least.
Hadlee watched the man with a mask clouding the emotions that sat on her mind. Though he hovered over her and requested her steps to move her forward, it took her a few more seconds than it should have. Still, with rather clear steps, she moved forward to where the brother was. Een as the other appeared close by, she did not look away. Her dull gaze scanned over the man, watching and waiting as she tried to formulate words to answer his question. "What is is that you want from me?" Surely she deserved to stay close to her sister, but that was something for this man to decide. So, Hadlee remained tall watching the man as he likely weighed her future on his mind. There was no sign of fear set there as she stared forward. No. She refused to show him anything he felt. This was not the time or place for it.
Vadimir could feel the love and protective vibes simply oozing from the two siblings. Huh, so it wasn't just Vad and Drak who had that sorta thing going on. Who knew! Speaking of the man in black, eyes temporarily shifted toward Drak as the limp body of the young ram came tumbling down, much like a meat sack. Eyes returned to Cinn's sister before the body even made contact with the ground, and good ol' Drak came dashing in it's bloody wake. Perfect timing. As he gazed toward Hadlee, he'd wait patiently. Despite how unruly the brothers were, they weren't mindless beasts. Hesitance was one thing. Outright refusal for no good reason was another. When she came forward and responded to his question with a question, short growl rose from his throat and he shook his head firmly. No, no, no. That's not how things were done around here. "Vot I vant from you iz, for now, irrelevant. I asked vot you are villink to DO," Accent became notably thicker as his passion rose one centimeter above normal, "To be vith thine ziblink. Ven I vant zomethink from you, believe me. I'll have it." And may mountains dare to bar his way from getting it. "But I vill not be holdink your paw.... vhy zould I?" Voice had dropped to a whisper meant only for her, head motioning toward Cinn and Zodi, who loomed in the background. "Zo, I'll ask you von more time... vot do you have to offer me und mine brozer? Vot are you villink to do to be vith Cinn?" Light snort left nostrils, and he'd blink once. She didn't have to answer immediately, but he'd sure as hell be expecting one. "Zink on it if you must. But I vill not accept anyzink lezz zan perfect." He didn't expect any less from himself, so why offer a luxury that he didn't enjoy?
Drakov: Like an obnoxiously curious and nosey crow looming from a tree branch, he hung as far off the rock as he could without falling. Head tilting to one side as he watched and listened to the scene unfold. Vad offered a lot more than Drak himself had, to Zod. But he obviously knew exactly what the pale man meant by his actions. Would the young male figure it out as well? Or would he remain in the dark, and ultimately end up with an asswooping eventually? Time would tell, wouldn't it. Toothy grin reappeared as he thought over the happenings. Hrm hrm.... So many questions. If only to hear them directly from the source. But.. He waited until Vadim's inquiry ceased, before opening his mouth at last. "So.. Who is zis? Cin's seester, was that it?" Words didn't hold that usual demanding tone about it. There was no need! Brother had gotten all that was needed out on the board. For now, he was only asking in pure curiosity. Having missed the girls name, or.. not realized that's what it was they were talking about. It didn't matter. A humored snort would escape, before head pulled back and paws rolled him to leap from his rocky perch. "Velcome.." How quickly they seemed to be growing. It almost made him laugh. He wasn't expecting such a thing. Frankly he was almost shocked Nida and Cin stayed. Gaze shifted across everyone present, before settling on brother with a mild wag of tail. Then attention focused solely on his claim. Mm. Food, then perhapes.. This spar could commense? Sounded good. "Anyvone hungry?" Tongue flicked across his lips before tearing into the meal. Though he didn't stuff himself like he had been. After a good bit of jerking and grinding of teeth, he'd busted his way into it's gullet and retrieved desired organs. Enough to last him, but not so much it hurt to walk. What a terrible sensation.
Cinnema watched with guarded eyes what transpired, only the slightest relieved that it seemed Vad didn't have an interest in playing too much with Hadlee now. But, if she could guess at what he was asking..Obviously he'd do what he wanted regardless. What would it cost for them to stay together, like the paler sister wanted? How warped she become, staying here? That was the whole reason Cin had been quite hesitant to speak about this twisted family they had. But everyone had to answer their own questions and make their own choices, and she wouldn't force anything. In her heart though she was doubting her hope to remain with her only living and loved relative. With difficulty she would turn her head away to look toward Drakov, giving a slight nod to his question. Let someone else give her name while the others were speaking.. Unease visible in every part of her body, she wandered over to where Drak was with his ram, pregnant girl gently and cautiously rubbing her head against his side, ready to step aside quickly if he chose to snap. She understood food possessiveness. Regardless, she'd take couple paces back and sit to the side, eyes flicking from pelt to pelt, content to wait to eat for now. Stress was causing her stomach to figuratively twist and she was finding herself not inclined to eat because of it. Finally green stare would fall on Hadlee's cream and white fur, so close to Vad.
Zodiak's sniffing escapade was quietly ended as cin was spotted out of the corner of his eye; teeth bared and a low growl in his direction. Ears twisted back and he'd give his own low growl in protest before turning away from the lightly colored Hadlee. Youngin' plopped on his rump a few paces away, eyes focused on Vad more than anything as the events played out. hrmm they seemed to be a little easier on the girl than him, meh, he couldn't blame them, pretty sure what the reason was. Zodi's gaze shifted back to the den as Drak arrived, heaving a rather delicious looking carcass onto the ground. Zodi's stomach roared, ohhhh how long had it been since he'd eaten? At least 3 days not counting the occational bug or berry. He could feel the saliva accumulating in his maw and tongue flicked across his lips to avoid overflow. It wasn't very long before drak offered the meal to everyone and zodi's stomach nearly jerked him forward. He rose and cautiously stepped past Hadlee and Vadim pausing to watch Cin make her approach before moving in. He circled around to the opposite side of cin and drak, stopping not far from the carcass. Head lowered and he sniffed the air, wanting to dig in but also not wanting to get eaten himself.
Drakov: Organs were easily enough consumed, only a few bites here and there before swallowing what he could whole. Nothing unusual there. Eat fast, or else lose it. So by the time Cin and Zod motioned forth, he was almost done himself. Course, it didn't keep him from staking his claim. Lips curled at Cin's touch, bloodied snarl offered, though low as it were. It wasn't even hardly considered a warning so much as it was a reminder. Zod on the other hand. He was given a little more oomf from the vocals! Simply because, Drak had history with the pale lady. She had a better understanding of .. well what to expect when pushing boundaries. But there would be nothing to dramatic, the remaining organ was snatched between peeled back lips, and the fluffed male motioned away from the kill. Chunk of flesh was grinded at mid air, splitting it into 2 parts for easier consumption before swallowing it as too. Mmm. Bout time he'd had a larger meal. Of course, a large deer or the like would be far more suitable, especially for there growing numbers, BUT. It was still better than just mice and hares! Tongue flicked across his lips, gaze lingering back to Vad and Hadlee for but a momment before focus returned to the yearling and Cin. He'd still not quit picked up on her pregnancy, though he had caught note of all the little symptoms. It was just a matter of piecing them together now. For now though, he was more caught up in seeing how things played out while these two ate. Watching like a creeper. "Zod. I hope you are prepared for zey fite. After you eat, we shall start." Even if not 100% health just yet, he was good enough so that he was itchin to get things under way.
Cinnema hardly acknowledged Drakov's warning, since she was willing to move aside regardless. She knew not to push him, obviously. Though the lady would raise a brow that Zodi was given more of a warning, despite being farther away. Hm. Not that it bothered her, given how she currently felt about the boy. As the large male sauntered away from the kill, she would move into his place, assuming she beat Zodiak to the jump. If she hadn't she would utter a low growl, a warning of her own. No, she was older, back up child. She'd use her scarred muzzle to explore what Drak had left behind, not surprised that the better parts were gone. Ah, well, such was life. Ya get to it first, ya eat it first. Still, concerned as she was about her sister, she wasn't the most hungry. She moved to a hind leg, stripping meat efficiently with sharp teeth and chewing slowly before swallowing. Green eyes would flash between Zodi and the place she was focused on. Mmm. But, quite frankly after she'd eaten the leg and a portion of the mountain goat's backside, she would quite simply shake her fur and take slow steps back away from the meal. Cin's eyes would flash over to Hadlee and Vadimir again, watching progress, if any. She paused, before finding a slight patch of grass, not paying mind to who was where compared to her- plopping ass down to lick blood from her face and turn attention to Drak and Zodi. A fight, something to distract her.
Zodiak was eagerly awaiting the brute to leave way for him to eat. Cin he wasn't as worried about as drak, the female may not have liked him but she didn't seem as much of a threat to him as drak; The aggression was not as strong in that one. Ears flicked back as he was threatened, the pup turning to the side and pacing in anticipation. His behavior resembled that of a coyotee when they try to steal food. He was no coyot but damn was he hungry. As drak took his last helping and moved from the carcass, zodi moved in. Eyes kept focused on Cin as he crept up to the creature, lips peeling out of the way to expose fangs ready to tear into flesh. Young pup let out his own growl in responsse to hers, however his was not one that was entirely directed at her. It was more of a reaction to her growling at him and food being involved. He latched onto pelt and meat, tugging back and possibly causing the whole body to move with him. He'd then place a paw to brace his tugs before tearing a sizable chunk from the beast, shaking it like the dead thing it was before chomping it down. mmmmm soooo good om nom nom. As he reeled in for his next helping Draks words stopped him dead. Eyes shifted in his direction and he seemed frozen for the moment. He knew this seemed too good to be true. Free food from drak, BAH he should have seen that coming. Zodi sighed and looked down at the meat platter, almost not wanting to eat now--not like that would cop him out of the fight. Reluctantly he continued to eat a few more bites but it seemed his appetite had left him. Nerves had taken over and he no longer desired the pleasures of food. Gaze shifted up at drak and he slowly took a step back.
Drakov: Tail flicked a tad behind him in silent contemplation over the scene. Mm. Cin. You got alittle more of a back bone than you lead on. Lovely to see. Zod's shift in demeanor was dully noted, but it didnt phase him in the slightest. Why would it? He didn't wanna eat, his loss. Just made things move alittle sooner for them. Casual and calm as ever, body shifted forward to stroll past Cin, offering her a little rough nip before pressing past the carcass and off towards the overlooking cliff. "Come." Words proclaimed toward, obviously, the yearling. ----------- ----- Drakov: Pale male strolled easily off from the den sight, not because there was a real need but.. He frankly enjoyed the scenery the cliff side had to offer, and he'd distinctly remembered how open it was. Not to say he didn't like some challenging fights! Cliff fights, ugh! Now that was fun. But for now, he kept it to something simple. Head tilted to the side just enough for gaze to linger to the corner of his eyes and settle on the male, assuming he had followed. "Are you scared boy? Are you anxious? Or excited?" Frankly the creepiest part about the boys wasn't neccessarily what they did or what they said... it was just how fucking calm and casual they were about it out. How... obviously normal it all was to there every day life. Once the clearing came into view, white mutt mortioned forward and circled in place to stand across from the boy, shoulders rolling and a loose stance taken. He'd await for the yearlings response, or.. even questions if he had any, before jumping into things. Drak wasn't neccessarily one to be gentle, but he'd never go into a fight unfairly. That was cowardice.
Zodiak stood emotionless as drak motioned past him with a simple -come-. He could feel his limbs begin to shake, chills running up his spine and down his legs. Young pup shook it off and glanced in the direction he was to go. This was his last chance, he could run like a pup, tail between his legs and return to the bachelor life he had with raven, or he could grow up and face this crazy ass male. Thoughts of Nida flooded his mind and he knew what he had to do. With a heavy intake of breath he turned and followed the path to what he thought could be the last thing he did. As they moved up the path zodi was beyond nervous, and then drak questioned him on just that. Zodi glared into drak's backside and simply responded "a little..." that was pretty much a 'D. all of the above' sort of answer. As they entered the clearing and drak turned to face him zodi felt a rush of electricity flood into his veins. Was that what adrenaline felt like? A small surge of confidence took over and he allowed another statement to flow forth, "I'm still not entirely sure why your so set on fighting a whelp like me..." on the last words, his gaze shifted so amber eyes locked with his own crazed orbs, the words no longer sounding like those of a scared pup but drenched in the rebellious confidence of a young adult.
Drakov: Ear tufts twitched to the youngins voice, a calm smooth stride taken as they moved. Up until they came to the location, and sights could set on the boy and take in the reality of his words through the body language he displayed. Final comment had Drak pausing, a -taps chin- look on his face before prepped posture shifted to a casual sit. He usually didn't give enough fucks to explain the depths of his logic, but.. then again.. How many actually asked? Technically Zod hadn't either, he'd given about as much as anyone else. A comment or spout of confusion. But no real question. Ohwell. Why not. "A vhelp, you say? Vadimir und I, we were taken by humans just as our eyes opened. Zey had us fighting ozzer pups before our adult teeth came in. Do you know how many pups ve killed?" A rhetorical question. "I don't.. You know what I do know? Ve survived, because we faught for our lives. For what we 'wanted'. We wanted to live. Und so we did." Head tilted back and a light sigh ushered out. Not because he was irritated, just a.. catch of breath from all the talking. "You want Nida, do you not? You want.. To join us? You want to live? You must be prepared to fight for zat right." To the boys, despite how much of a game they made it out to be. It was far from that. It was a never ending battle. And they had no issues with this concept, because they would always fight for what they wanted. The thought so much as made them feel as though they were Gods. Not because they were immortal, incapable of death. But because when they time finally came. You bet your ass they would go down fighting with incredible furocity. "I'm not so much a.. er.. Lenient man, if you 'ave not noticed. Just as mine brosser und I are willing to fight, we refuse to protect und feed those who are not willing to do zey same." Enough of an explaination? He'd hoped so. Thus far he'd never bothered explaining. Not because he was irritated, just a.. catch of breath from all the talking. "You want Nida, do you not? You want.. To join us? You want to live? You must be prepared to fight for zat right." To the boys, despite how much of a game they made it out to be. It was far from that. It was a never ending battle. Zodiak perked up some as drak assumed a sitting position. A slight look of confusion crossing his face. He didn't think he'd ever fully understand these wolves, but in all honesty that's part of what kept him around. They made things interesting, like the saying 'never a dull moment' yeah that was pretty much them in a nutshell. Zodi remained standing, although slightly more relaxed, his eyes broke that locked in sort of glare and relaxed, still focusing on drak as he spoke. He remained silent through his explanation, at first feeling a tad guilty for what he said but then feeling almost motivated. To say Zodi loved nida may be an understatement. In the little time he'd known her, he felt as if his place was at her side and he would do whatever it took to be there. If he were to die today he could at least say he died trying, although he really didn't want to die because well...that's obvious. The fear that almost made him back out of this whole ordeal was fading and being replaced by what could only be described as courage. The longer he stood there the more ready he felt, the only thing worrying him is that he'd never really fought like this before. If this brute had been fighting for as long as he said he did, then zodi would be at a great dissadvantage. At his final words zodi finally decided to speak up, "alright then..." he said quietly, a slight rasp trailing his words, "lets do this." Boys ears would shift forward and he'd arch his tail. No time for respect when he'd be trying to overpower the brute. hackles raised and teeth were bore in a nasty snarl; absent the fearful grin he'd always shown. The pup was ready as he'd ever be. A deep growl traveled up his throat and forced its way between his fangs and zodi shifted to circle off to the side of the male giving one quick snap of his jaws at the air.
Drakov: Shoulders rolled, claws digging at the earth at recollecting his past. It as a whole didn't bother him. Infact he was almost far to ok with it all. But.. When thinking about his past, he thought about human kind and that put a horrid taste in his mouth. Or.. a good one, when thinking about eating there flesh. Mm. Alright alright no time for that. Sights shifted a bit, steering back towards the den's general direction before refocusing on Zod. He had no intent to go easy the boy, and that would no doubt become obvious very soon. Head mildly tilted when the boy finally came to speak, and readied himself. Drak, in comparison, simply stood. Limbs bending just a tad but no hackles were up and no sound came forth. The most of anything he had to offer was that nub of a tail poking straight up, and a flick of tongue across his still bloodied jaws. He was preped to act first, but when sights noticed Zod's motion into circling fashion, Drak pushed off the earth to catch him mid snap. Jaws parted and aimed to swing into the boys. Clacking jaws together like swords colliding.
Zodiak's eyes widened as the approach of drak was noticed. A loud snarl spewed forth as his jaw met Draks, teeth snapping shut and reopening as they were pressed against the white brutes own. He'd let out a bark of sorts and shift his weight to his hind legs, pushing his front forward to use what little weight he had to slam into drak head on. This would at least get him out of the direct line of his face, so zodi thought. He didn't have much time to think about anything else. The only thought repeating through his mind was nida. Anything it takes he promised her and in this moment that's exactly what he'd do.
Drakov: Mm. He had been looking forward to this. Mostly for the sake of getting it out of the way. If he failed, it'd be over and done with. And they could carry on without the thought of tests and trechory. But, he also relished in the act of battle. In putting others in pain. Why? Well honestly he hadnt the foggiest idea. Perhapes it was the powerful feeling of holding ones life in the palm of your hand, or the exillerating knowledge that he was still alive. Or maybe he was just a fucking Sadist. Who knew! Hell it might be all of the above. Regardless.. His heart was pumping in pure pleasure. When jaws collided, his sideways swing was enough to catch Zod's unexpected self off guard and knock him a couple inches the opposite direction. And from there? Drak took advantage of his close standing, and even more so. Zod's push forward. His face and neck was right in right, so with little effort teeth found themselves clamping down around the yearlings jawline.
Zodiak: Oh what was he doing? He'd never been properly taught how to fight, having been orphaned and adopted by a wolf that would rather teach him about birds than fighting, or maybe that was that 'lesson' he was talking about before zodi so carelessly left. Damn why couldn't he have done it sooner? It seemed he was already making mistakes as he felt himself shift at the weight of the other brute side swiping him. As he pushed into the brute, yet another mistake was noticed. In trying to overpower him in the quickest route, he put his own ass in danger. Eyes squinted as he felt the teeth clamp down on his jawline. He was vulnerable but wasn't going to give up. Jaws parted as all ferociousness was released--a much different reaction compared to his whining he did the last time Drakov had him. He pulled his fangs toward Draks head. It was a long shot but he aimed to clamp down on whatever loose skin settled around where the brute should have ears. Zodi knew if he could cause him pain, he could hopefully pull away... or make him bite down harder.. meh worth a shot.
Drakov: A feint grin couldn't help but etch at his maw, though it was muffled and unseen due to skin and muscle stuffing his face. He was pleased in the lads exuberance, his persistance. But boy did he need some work. Teeth pinched down harder, head twisting into Zod's. Intentionally holding as he was to make it... quit literally.. painfully obvious the position he put himself in. He had teeth in his jawline, and while not always noticed at first beyond the obvious pain of being bit, when he opened his mouth and attempted to USE the muscles Drak was so kindly biting down on! And then, proceeded to try and turn into him, well.. Simple pain would sky rocket. All the russian boy had to do was rip away and the yearling's jaw muscles would be shredded to hell, which meant.. Oops. No eating for you. Slow painful death from starvation! Course he didn't at all do that, he simply used the boys attempt at nabbing him to further show the situation. Instead of killing him, he continued twisting his head into Zod's, forcing him to turn with Drak's motion simply due to the pain it delivered. Essentially. He was working the boy like a puppet by his face! To make it worse, front paws lifted to wrap around the boys frame, using his now lack of balance to shove him to the ground. Onces Zod's paws slipped from benieth him, all of Drak's weight was used to slam his face into the ground below.
Zodiak: Any thoughts he had about what real pain was diminished in his third mistake (his first being agreeing to this damned fight) His attempts to bite back and shown him how real the situation was, how much drak really had him. --oh just kill me now!!!-- his mind buzzed, teeth bared and a gurgled snarl pushing forth. Eyes darted and searched for a way out, an answer and it seemed there was none. Front paws pushed their way out at draks face but that seemed to only make it worse. Hind limbs trembled as the pup's senses were completely overwhelmed. A cross between a whine and a snarl shot forth as he made a failed attempt to free himself. He couldn't move, the slightest shift was enough to make his head feel like exploding--and then they were moving. Zodi couldn't hold it in, whines and high-pitched cries escaped his jaws, trembling hinds now side stepping to keep him aligned in a way that it didn't hurt AS much. He already felt as if he'd lost without a chance. However, zodi was watching; waiting for the opportunity to strike, as pained as he was he was determined to get this guy back. Legs gave way as drak shoved him and he collapsed to the dirt, the pain seemingly blocking all efforts to function. Zodi was in a bad place and he knew it wasn't over yet.
Drakov: Hidden smirk only grew wider at the males cries. It was terribly contradicting. Sure the boys had logical(well to them it was) reasoning behind there actions. But jeez it was so hard to believe, or even tell, if that was the case when they were taking such pleasure from it! Pfft. Quiet throughout the entire fight, he only just began to make a sound as there bodies shifted to the ground. A low feint snarl vibrated against the males jawline between Drak's teeth. A sound of enjoyment. Shoulder pressed into the boys, weight pressed down against him. And from there!? LMFAO... ugh god.. From there Drak decided to take advantage of the situation and hump the fuck out of the poor boys side. SIGH. Drakwhy.. Teeth still tightly held on. Probubly wasn't a good thing either He'd have a very sore jaw for a few days, after this. But once he'd gotten pleasure out of the way, Drak lifted a paw to press it down on the boys face. Weight pressed into it, so that jaws could release and snap down across the yearlings ears. Given Zod was as out of it as he'd assumed, and unable to move with a paw on his face, teeth would slice awful close to his eye. Shredding skin up to his ear and ripping through it. One good jerk, and he'd be down one ear with a gorgeous scar from eye to ear. Overly pleased, Drak would remove himself from the boys frame. Maw bloodied yet again, tongue would glide across his teeth. As horrid and brutal as it seemed.. Drak spoke in a tone that was shockingly reassuring. Praising even. "You did vell." WAY TO CALM THERE DRAK.
Zodiak was dead. That was it, game over done dead dead. No not really, but part of him wished he were, compared to the pain he was feeling. Eyes widened as he felt Drak growl. Oh god not good not good he's gonna kill me right now he's gonna---The HELL??!! Zodi couldn't bit but he did bare his teeth even more as the male moved against him. As if he wasn't defeated enough, and with each hump he felt more pain since the bastard wanted to keep a grip on his face. However releif came soon enough when he finally released him. Zodi, teeth still exposed tried to lift his head but the pain shot straight to his nose and then his ear--no that was Drak. Zodiak cringed as his ear was now being held prisoner. A paw to the face would have his limbs flailing in an attempt to remove him but it seemed every muscle he had to use involved his jaw (go figure). Zodi's body went limp as he gave in to the moment, panting heavily to try and out some of the pain that way. Then Drak's final move had him flailing again, it seemed the pups body was having a mild seizure as fang dug into his face and the flesh that attached his ear so firmly to his skul began to tear until nothing was left. A final yelp was echoed off against the trees before he went silent, laying in place even after Drakov removed himself. His words triggered zodi to action, not in the fighting sort. Zodi sat up, teeth cringed as he fought against the series of whimpers that so badly wanted to come out. Damn what now? He went to stand but as the muscles tried to work together he was forced to fall back to the dirt. Shit. it was over.
Drakov: Nub of a tail swayed slowly behind him. But.. It slowed along with his enlighted energy. You'd think by now they'd figure out wha'ts normal for them wasn't for others? But no. Instead, he stared alittle puzzled by the butthurt look on the yearlings face. Ohwell. No point dwelling on it. "You are to ... explosive vhen you fight. You need to remain calm, und sink before you act." Snort would usher out to emphasis his criticism. "But, you 'ave proved yourself. You may stay." Body motioned forward after he finished speaking, motioning toward the boy with little care. Teeth would bare, though not in hostility so much as simple dominance. Maw parted an inch or so, declaring what he wanted through body language alone. Or.. So he tried. To make the boy roll over. If the boy did as was told, Drak would lick the bleeding wound clean. Once that was all said and done, head would tilt towards the den. "Shall ve return? You should eat more zen you did earlier. " Snortsnort. And off they'd go back home.
Zodiak's eyes were glazed over as he stared toward Drak, listening to his advice. It made sense, maybe zodi had been so afraid of the fight in the first place that he went charging in thinking ferocity could win the fight. He was wrong and definately would not forget this. Tail gave a half-hearted thump when he was granted permission to stay. He wasn't really looking forward to facing nida right now in his condition but it was inevitable. Drak approached and zodi lowered his ears, tail tucking up at his hocks. He got it now, as much as he didn't want to submit, he wasn't ashamed to submit to this one, considering his state. Zodi slowly rolled, his body stiff with pain. He winced as Drak licked the wound but didn't protest. It was one of those releiving moments to not have him tearing into him. When words of heading home were proposed zodi nodded slightly and slowly rose to a sitting position before standing to all fours. head slunk low he'd follow Drak back home.. home.. that sounded kind of nice.
------ ---- Drakov: Pale male lingered lazily home. Still oh so calm and unconcerned by ...well everything! That and, he was quit tired now. Not just from the short fight, but his run up the mountain earlier that morning. He was in far better condition now, sure, but he still wasn't 100%. Gaze lingered back to the yearling, and his.. now missing ear and torn up face with a smirk, before sights settled on Cin and the girl first. Brows furrowed curiously, before shifting to Vad. Oh? What had he missed? With a pleasant wag of nub tail he shuffled on over to brother dearest and flop down. Maw parting to mouth the bastards face, before nose went to investigating his frame, then the... Oh a tail. Questioning look was offered to him, before he peered back at Hadlee. Details plz? And then he'd fall to sleep with Vad talking like girls at a slumber party.
Zodiak: The walk back seemed longer, probably because he was sluggishly limping along. The limp wasn't even from his legs, it was the sheer pain that shot through him every time he went to step. When he finally reached the den site the defeated pup would look to the carcass in disgust, just the thought of trying to eat right now didn't thrill him. Eyes shifted to the others , not really taking in any details. Ears--Ear shifted back (ugh that was going to take some getting used to) and he hobbled over to where the grass met the dirt and plopped himself down in it. The grass was cool and welcoming, he flopped off to one side and closed his eyes, hoping sleep would make the pain go away.
Vadimir lifted his head when the two returned. Well now, how about them apples? Happy chuff exuded from maw as he welcomed the two back, mostly to Drak but, eh. Kid had returned instead of not at all, so guess he deserved something. Sure he looked like shit, but to Vad that just meant that they'd had a barrel of fun! Head and neck would jutt forward to snap at his brothers incoming face, returning affections as quickly as they were given. When the questioning gaze came his way, Vad had a hard time not looking immensely pleased with himself. "Cinn'z ziblink, Haddlee, vished to prove her vorth and vhy she zould be allowed to stay. Zo I asked vot she held most dear about herzelf, and zen I told her to take it avay." He'd nod to the severed tail. Though she probably couldn't care in the slightest, she'd earned some serious brownie points with Vad on her fearlessness. Gotta give props... which he probably would, when she awoken. But for now he'd simply regail brother with everything else that transpired, from Cinn's total and complete submission to the other tests he had planned for the future, right down to what he wanted to have for breakfast. And then he'd curl up into his bro and fall asleep, one super happy camper.
