Too Long Gone, You're Still Everything (14:08:26) Drakov: Le sigh.. The day was dragging on, his time dwindling. Though there really was little need to rush on homeward bound, he felt as though there was. After all, he was the Tsar! An Alpha. There a pack, family awaiting his return. Or so he assumed. Sure he had no doubt Vad could handle things in his absence, he knew darn good and well despite there similarities.. he differed from Vad in many ways. Good and bad. He wasn't so sure how well he'd manage on his own. Whether he would even bother with Drak gone. Hohum. It was a difficult decision, whether to continue searching for Dermo or head back... While soreness was still very evident in his ribs, the majority of his injuries had vanished. The simple act of walking had returned, his smooth easy gate obtained once more apart from the not even noticeable limp he bared from time to time when his side began to ache. One more lap.. He'd veered further north, and if he still came up empty pawed, then so be it. Perhapes Derm had simply found his way back home, or so he hoped. Nostrils flared as paws carried him with a slightly brisk pace up the stream. Seeking any tell tale sign of the boy. If he was about, live and well, he'd have to come by for a drink or a meal eventually..(14:25:26) Cinnema hadn't been exactly sure why, when she was finishing up training with Mote, she'd felt sudden urge to wander off again in search of those who were yet missing from their ranks. Perhaps it was that she'd tied herself down to the den again, to getting shit together and fixed after the shroom business. Ha, she'd yet to see another after that but if she did she'd almost certainly blow up at it. HMPH. But once she'd had those thoughts to go, she sent her apprentice shadow back home and headed across the river with the one rabbit in her jaws. Perhaps something to snack on, on the way, or to offer to someone she found. Pfft, the first day of searching did not wield any results in any form. She could have been hopeful with some hair, scent, or something like that. But nope. Night had set and she'd found a tight hole to curl up in, a decent substitute to being comfortable at home with the pack. It felt safe enough, anyway. And soon the next morning she set out again, nose searching and thoughts occupying her head to keep her on track. The list of those who were gone. Obviously, most noticably. Drakov, and Dermo, whom Mote had commented to not being able to find. Cortes's apprentice, whoever that was. Now that she was thinking, Valiria hadn't turned up in a while either. Was she training with him? She didn't know and wish she did. She wondered to the last time she'd seen that one male, though she'd only seen him like twice in the first place. Sigh. Did the list keep growing? What was going on in the damned park? This was a horrible place. Paws slowed as she approached a watersource, ears perked to listen for any noise. The kill still clenched in her jaws, minus its innards. Midnight snack perhaps. She would drop it for a moment to bend and take a drink, before she lifted again only for eyes to glance over a white pelt. Hrm? What was that? Instantly tense and sniffing every scent she could gather to help tell her if she was done searching. God damn.(18:30:13) Drakov: Nub of a tail waved neutrally behind his easy paced frame. Moving in rythm as he walts along the rivers length, a sizeable enough distance away that the moist earth wouldnt conceal any new scents. Better a chance at finding his son, but as he trailed along the sun began to slowly work it's way back to the tree line. God damnit.. Pace came to a hault, gaze lingering to stare up at the sky for but a momment in silent contemplation. Le sigh. Guess that means its time to head back..Hohum. Bastard would groan mentally to himself, paws swiveling him in place to gear him back towards the den in which he'd met Amata. She was closest.. He'd hit up there first, see if she was about and ready to lead him home, and if not? He'd check Conner instead. SOMEONE had to be here. And yet.. As he turned, preped to end his search for one in favor of another, someone very unexpected stopped him in his tracks. Eyes narrowed, body tensing in the first second of realization that someone had been so near for a time unknown to him, but when it became obvious who it was his tension rolled off like melted butter in favor of a more loose damn near excited demeanor! A rare spectical, atleast.. In the way he currently held it. Pure nostalgia for her as a single being, rather than his usual.. Excitement for more selfish means. Like.. Getting laid, or having a fight, or whatever else suited his fancy. No no! He was guinely excited just to see her! "Cin." And yet ... that droll russian tone made it hard to tell. BAHA. Name slipped free as tail wagged and haunched thrusted him forward, gradually taking to a bound with no sign of stopping. If she didn't move, not that he expected her to, he'd bulldoze her over wherever they met at! Whether water or land.(18:42:23) Cinnema had not expected in any case, even though it was her goal, to find anyone to bring back home with her. Really, this place was big and hardly any of Vechnyy's numbers knew the area around these parts. How, really, could they go out and search when there were other things to deal with? But nope, the one time she came out. The one time. Green eyes set upon the white male at a distance, and while she tensed to see another wolf outside of her territory. As he turned she seemed to melt. All thoughts and everything pouring into her head and legs leaned to the side without her realizing it. She had to catch herself so she didn't tumble to the ground as she still stared. This was-- this was great, everyone could be okay now at home because she could bring him back. Ears pricked to hear the sound of his voice that had been absent for what seemed like forever, and a smile slowly crept over her face. Paws carried her forward a few steps even as he was coming to meet her, and her posture relaxed, shifted as tail started waving like mad and just about all of her was shaking with the force of it, ears slicking backward slightly. She was just so fucking happy now. Things would be okay! He was okay! "Drakov," she'd part whisper and part whine as he was nearing, body not offering any resistance as he would come forward and completely bowl her off her feet. Likely thrown to the side and back into the water, Cin would shift muscles to push herself toward and against him in any way possible. Head would soon commence rubbing into his fur to reassure herself that yes he was indeed there. As if the collision wasn't enough for her. "Drak, my Tsar, my King. Drakov," she mumble into fur, just overwhelmed with how right everything was in the world right now. Happy Cin is happy.(18:55:20) Drakov: A completely different form of attention overtook him the instant there bodies made contact. That split second was all it took for things to twist and turn in a direction unexpected to him, or.. anyone else for that matter. Not in the same sense as most, but it was a huge deal for Drak! For after she fell, and he along with her.. After he'd righted himself, and proceeded to mouth harshly yet still ... still almost lovingly, in his own wierd way, he found himself rubbing roughly against in response. Not only for the sake of meshing smells, for righting his claim, for rubbing vechnyy into him once more, but more so.. To relish in the contact. The only time he'd ever done such a thing was when being reunited with Vadimir, and even that didn't compare. Not because his love for Vad was lesser, nono.. No one matched his adoration for brother. But, because, while he'd never admit it out of pure denial, he was still oh so infuriated with the male. Infuriated with him for leaving, for vanishing on him. Even if his reasons were just. It tore apart a piece of him, it made it hard to reestablish that same unbreakable bond they once hand. But Cin? Well.. Cin was here now wasn't she? This time he'd vanished and here she was. That life line, that one being who always seeemd to fill the spot Vadimir failed to fill. To add to it.. It turned out to be enough to offer truth he'd shared but maybe once in his life. That and.. of course.. Almost dieing kind of helped. Chin wrapped around the womans neck, tilting in so as to force her closer. "YA tozhe tebya lyublyu." Light russian accent drolled out low and unwavering. Insecurity finding it's mark oh to easily in his vocals, something that rarely if ever happend.. He was usually far to confident, far to sure. Far to unconrned. But emotions? Well his lack of understanding for it all kind of made it impossible not to be insecure.(19:20:19) Cinnema hadn't quite expected such a response either. He wasn't the type to be all lovey and nice all the time.. But HELL if she was going to try and stop him from doing so. Or even question the fact that he was rubbing on her just as much as she was against him. It just added to her extreme happiness, assisted all the negative thoughts she'd found all the while he'd been gone in leaving her mind. It was quite obvious to her that he hadn't left for lack of care of her, or the pack, or even because she'd gone and spilled her feels for him and he couldn't find it in him to return that. This, she'd only thought for a day, and then woop shroom attack and that had pushed all that depressing shit away. Even while they'd all, probably, still may have wondered if he were lying dead somewhere for them to never find. Obviously, that wasn't the case. While she still didn't know the reason of why he'd disappeared, it didn't matter. Surely someone who'd left her wouldn't react like this upon reunion. Cinnema would calm down slightly and still when he pressed his chin against her, and she'd shift and comply without any complaint, ears pricking to hear what it was he said. While she still regrettably didn't know Russian. The way he said it had eyes widening and she was quick to make assumptions. What, was he upset about something, was something wrong, was there a reason he couldn't come back, etc etc. It just wasn't like him to say anything about feelings, how could she guess. Har har. Tongue would give a tentative flick before she'd strain to move her face closer and apply licks to his muzzle or cheek. Her words were soft, echoing the surprising emotion in his. "I hope that..means something good. Nothing's wrong..right?" Slight hint of a whine in her voice, not that she minded. She was so anxious all of a sudden with just not knowing what was up, SIGH poor girl. (19:43:48) Drakov: Oh how awkward. Not so much his feelings, but more so.. the.. trying to... share them part? He didn't care that he loved her, he didn't care if he ever loved anyone! It was an honor, to be honest. It was something you really had to work for, really had to earn. Had to deserve. But when it came down to TELLING people that... Well.. He just plain sucked at talking through casual conversation, no less something as intricate and serious as emotions. Pfftt. The result was instinctual Russian. Something he often did when sharing a momment with Vad, or when his feelings got the better of him.. It all came out in Russian. "YA nikogda ne lyubil nikogo , no moy brat .. YA ne znayu, kak lyubit' . No ya znayu, chto ya lyublyu tebya ." The likes of which he didn't realize until he'd done said it all! Until his brain stop grinding gears so quickly and he was given a momment to registred Cin's reaction to it all. "I zay.. I 'ave never loved anyvon like I do mine brosser.." Contact that had been held between the two would seperate, body shifting backwards and gaze rolling for a momment over anything not her before he return to focus. "But I love you. I know I do." Needless to say this spill of information didn't change a whole lot.. Because.. Well.. He wasn't .. exactly.. hiding it before? He'd always loved her, always acted the way he would regarding such. Granted his version of love was nothing like most BUT it was still love! The only difference now was.. He was flat out bluntly saying so. The only difference was.. She now knew. "Und I never vant to lose you." Lordy lord, losing Vad was bad enough. If ever he lost that mental support Cin offered, all hell would break loose.(20:01:07) Cinnema ears would flick more nervously when he continued to ramble on in his native tongue, and while the words were oddly reassuring to her in that she was so used to hearing them speak it. She still didn't know what it meant and thus it could be anything. But when he paused and realized that everything was going over her head, and began to translate. Ears pressed forward, and even as he pulled away from her she would sit where she was-- back end into the water-- and stare fixed on his face. Slowly any tension about what he could say melted from her form, anxiety shifting to a look of subdued shock. Okay, perhaps not really THAT subdued. But she was trying to make it less obvious that this whole, him sharing feels thing, was completely unexpected. None the less she almost hung on to the words he shared and the look on her face shifted moreso from surprise to that of tender devotion. Hell, he knew how she felt, was there even a point to repeating that? Even considering that he'd put space between them. Cin would stand and shift forward, tentatively, but not putting all that contact again. Nose simply stretched out to touch against him and she'd smile at him should he still be looking. Tail gave a few gentle wags. "You already know I love you. And I wouldn't dream, of leaving you, Drakov. Don't worry about that." Nope, everyone else. They weren't quite obsolete, but he came before them all. She couldn't fathom to think about leaving Vechnyy, what he'd made there, or him. Except, well, she'd leave them if he asked her to.(20:43:01) Drakov: Distance was procured as more of a... comfortable vantage point to assess the situation. As little experience he had in sharing emotions, he had just as much in regards to others handling them! He hadn't a clue how one would react, and so.. Rump settled, nub tail flicking and gaze flicking from nothingness to staring at her. Attempting to read and analyze how things like this were meant to be handled. Especially considering...He'd obviously not done a very good job when she'd said it to him first! Pffttt. "Da.. I know. I've alvayz loved you, too. Just don't know how to." Kind of confusing there Drak but.. He was pretty confused himself! Not like he knew shit about any of this. Contact was registered with a mild toothy smirk, but it dwindled quickly after. "I vound Dermo. He vas in poor condition, zen I lost him. Did he return home?" Not that she'd neccessarily know.. Especially if she'd been out and about looking for him, BUT worth asking. Right? Right. Nontheless, it changed little. He needed to get back and reassure himself all was well. Or.. More so.. Remind himself how much he hated this place, how temporary there home was. And how much he ached to return to Cascades. Sigh. Either way.. A change was in order. He needed to kick things in gear, bite a few bastards on the ass and push them forward! They'd been basically given a long term vacation, Vechnyy style, but vacation nontheless. The tournament needed to get under way, members needed training, rank ups needed to be pushed for. No more of this sitting around all cozy in the bottom ranks. He had a change of system in mind, the likes of which would call for several being dismissed from there family.. To which, he simply assumed nothing was being done in his absence. But little did he know that wasn't quit the case! What fun it will be to return. "Come ve should return.. Iz getting late." Smirk would return, body pushing forward so that chest rubbed against her frame as he ushered her to lead the way.(21:09:21) Cinnema didn't mind the space put between but only because she knew that could always be changed.. Hehee. But yet she still only moved a little bit to boop noses when he was done talking all that stuff about feelings. Not wanting to press too much now. Tail wagged further when he continued talking, and smile grew when he grinned back at her about the contact. Yaayyy things were good now again! She was loved and wanted and it felt amazing. Focus shifted and her happy thoughts were put on hold as he mentioned another person who'd she realized had been missing, and her head tilted a little. "No, not that I've seen so far. Maybe since I left yesterday, but otherwise.. I haven't seen him." It was a little concerning that he was out here and all banged up too, without anyone knowing where he'd gone. She was actually concerned about him, which was a little surprising, but not all that much. More so because she hardly knew her children well, but they were still there and had kept around so they deserved that much at least. Cin was excited for them all to return again and things could really get back to normal, beside the pressure they'd been getting from all over to get a move on and improve, train, be better. Not that Drak probably knew about that, and the queen had yet to be informed that promotions other than Smug's had been handed out. But she knew there was progress over there. What would he think about that? Tail wagged as he mentioned getting back, and she was quick to nod and take steps back. "Right.. Vad and I have been handling everything alright, but I'm sure everyone will be glad to have you back." That was likely an understatement, considering most of them had been worried sick. But hey! She grinned at his contact and her head shifted to apply short noms and licks to the side of his face before tail wagged and she gladly bounded forward in the direction she knew was home.

The King Has Returned Drakov: After one long as fuck journey, the likes of which was actually spent searching in the process, in hopes of maybe stumbling apon any sign of Dermo.. And of course, learning the fucking land because PFFT Fuck dis getting lost shit, he could FINALLY see home in the distance. The lack of trees and coverage made it a tad obvious against the dart dirt landscape. Nub of a tail swayed, head tilting enough for gaze to settle on Cin from the corner of his eyes as toothy grin of delight plagued his features. Bout mother fucking time. He was so tired of the rest of Yellowstone. So tired of not being in his element. PFFT. Sure there ways were Conquering any obstacle, to which he would did but that sure as fuck didn't mean he enjoyed it!! SNORT. Pace soon quickened, though ribs were still sore as the dickens.. He was all healed apart from that! A mild limp from the soreness was all that remained, meaning a fast full body run quickly took hold. Only slowing as the den drew nearer. Dust would be puffed up, and by the time he came to a complete hault he'd realized he only ran because he could.. WOW. Almost two fucking months since he'd really ran!? That was... kind of annoying. It felt fucking good to run. Oh there was so much he was excited to do now that he was able. Things he probubly could have done days ago but was far to occupied with finding Dermo and his way home to give enough shits about doing such.
Cinnema already knew the way home, having wandered off in that direction anyway to look for signs of missing kin, but it seemed brighter on the way back because the shining king of her life was returning back home where he belonged. Woo! Everything was cool now!! Seeing the home turf back on the landscape, her tail just started wagging again even as she was setting it back to spine level like usual. Noticing the smile he flashed her, she had to grin widely back. Look! See! We didn't burn it to the ground while you were gone! Almost, but that was another story and they wouldn't get into that right now probably! The shrooms were GONE so they didn't matter anymore. Ears pressed forward to notice him shifting, and legs took to bounding with happiness, tongue lolled out before she eventually got up the speed and was racing after him. FUCKING HOOOME. Before they got super close her head tilted back and she let out a high-pitched howl, to anyone and everyone who could hear just that. Even though she hitched in her running for a moment to do so, she gulped air back and kept on sprinting near him. By the time they were slowing and dirt was flying up all over the place, she was panting from all the air used up but that was just fine with her. Tail waved and she did a turn in the courtyard while seeming to prance, as good a mood as she was in, before turning over to Drak. Tongue again flicked out to run over his muzzle as she just grinned at him and shifted back, front legs falling to the floor in half stretch, half play pose. Even while ears flicked around to hear other people approach because hell they were likely to. Come on out, the king is home!
Vadimir gorged on the deer he had brought home after having kept to his usual daily routine. His latest wound was scabbed, though it still hurt like the dickens and he had to keep his mouth pretty well stiff, else it threatened to tear and release a flow of crimson. Vadimir would scowl sullenly in these instances, remembering how he had gotten the wound in the first place. Damn crazy people and them taking their nightmares out on him. Bah. Having his fill snowy mutt picked himself up, leaving the main courtyard to reinstate pack borders. Zod and the others had been doing a fine job at it, but there was no reason for him to slacken simply because everyone else had their cookies in a row. He was just finishing the last of it when the howl came in, drifting over the land like a sonic boom. Ears twitched and head lifted, jaws parting to emit his own call. YEP I HEAR YOU I'MA COMIN'. Wonder what it was all about? Maybe Cinn had found an intruder... but.. she sounded far too happy for that. Vadimir in fact, when was the last time he had seen, much less heard. Her sound so jovial? Paws had begun at a medium trot, but as dawning apprehension washed over him he gradually picked up the pace until he was fairly sprinting over the landscape. Only for him to come to a stop, witnessing the two figures on the horizon. Cinnema, and.... Had tears been plausible for him, they woulda been streaming down his face, just like that . As it was, lip would stiffen, prepatory swallow engaged, and a long, drawn out stare. Again... it had happened again. Measured paw steps brought him closer, eyes moving first to Cinn, then to Drak. "You're back," He began, voice low but audibly breathless. The Tsar had come home.... beaten, banged up. But whole. "You look like shit." Was his next line, eyes growing soft, yet distant. Muscles began to tense, flutter, while claws furrowed the earth. He was back.
Zodiak lay dormant at the foyer of the den; guarding as per usual. Stomach had been filled by delectable sheep and even some still remain. Wounds were scabbed over, minor in any case but still noticable as he rolled off to one side in a tired stretch. He'd lay there stiffly until howl ripped across the silence of the atmosphere and sent him flying to all fours with hackles puffed. Parted jaws bayed out in response as he trotted in the general direction, only to see two figures skid into view. He paused, as the dust settled, noting vad not far from the scene and looking just as shocked as him. Nose craned forward until the marshmallow king was in full, clear sight. Few seconds of emotionless staring were all he could muster before a drawn out whine seemed to seep from the very skin that held him together. Body rushed forward with unrelenting pace and only when in close proximity did his body drop, belly nearly touching the ground as he skidded past the others and right up below the tsars chin. Tongue flicked furiously at his muzzle, jaws nipping and 'nibbying' at him while tail thrashed in a blurr of dust behind him. Repetative whines seeped from the boys throat as overwhelming excitement took over him. in the moment even a small bit of urine escaped him but we wont tell anyone about that. He couldn't beleive it! Drak was back! he was back!!!!! Hind legs began to push him upward in jumping motion, paws reaching to grasp over his shoulders but having no real motor control as mind was a mental mess of emotions.
Drakov: Tail wavered high behind the pale bastards form. Ah.. He was whole again. He'd already forgotten what the rest of the world was like, how different they were. How he had to alter himself to appease everyone elses wims. Which.. Normally he didn't bother, BUT.. He was lost after all! Respectful words were the least he could do if it meant finding his way back. And so he did! Even if not by there hand, but Cin's instead. He didn't give a fuck. Even more so.. He owed less now than he'd expected. The only being who truely ended up assisting him was Conner. If not for her hospitality he'd have perished. Drak was expected a number of faces added to the owed list in his efforts to return home and find his son but it seemed he'd gotten away from that scot free! Enough.. Brows furrowed, gaze scanning about in search of familiar faces. First and foremost he found Vad, tail swayed mildly. He wasn't expecting some welcome home party, not in the slightest! If only because he didn't find his being away something that... Deemed such.. If anything he was the only one who need be in such high spirits. Afterall, he was the one whome had almost died! He was the one who had lost his way. Or so was his thought on the matter. Course.. He wasn't complaining either! Cin's positive attention was more than enjoyed, and soon enough Zod's would be as well. But first.. First he saw Vad. "Da. Found ze bear that killed Mega. Tried to take him out but he bested me, next sing I know I vake up ... i dont even know vhere." Stupid fluffy fucker. Despite the desire to scowl at the thought, Zod's bounding presence left him only smirking as tail began to sway once more. It was a pleasant welcome home, nontheless. Of all the pack, the ones he cared most about were all right here. Only thing that could make it better were there children. Lip curled, features holding a toothy expression that suggested a mad man but it was not more than his usual brand of ... 'affectionate greeting' that was bestowed apon the lad. Teeth parted to mouth his licking face, to wrap around his muzzle and prick teeth into the skin before simply releasing. Course he hadn't quit expected the abundance of excitement to turn into more, forcing teeth to part and clamp around the side of his neck. Just below the jaw. A slightly tender but loose bit of flesh, something to grab onto in the little gap he was given to react to Zod's rearing of paws, so that he too could rise to his feet with a little more leverage. UNF. MORE CONTACT. Score. Arms were lightly tucked against his own chest for but a second, before his grip turned to thrashing. Nothing dramatic, but enough to shake him about as playful yet still fierce growls echoed forth. And then it hit him, a twist a certain way. A shooting pain he couldn't ignore zapped through his side and felt as though his own ribs had just pierced his insides, forced his grasp to release in favor of choking on a raspy breath. Shutter ran through his frame, body slumping over and fumbling as attempted to catch himself. Momment was taken to cringe, to mentally subdue his aches and pains.. Once all was well again, or atleast.. Well enough he could ignore it, bastard would right himself and settle into a sit. "How are your .. things.. Zod?" Children, of course. But ya know. Until further notice they were but THINGS to him. Zod's or not.
Cinnema wondered for a mere second if perhaps all this affection and crap would make Drak uncomfortable after not being around them all for so long. But, quite honestly. It was for just that tiny moment and then it didn't matter anymore. Cuz fuck that he was going to deal with it. Good thing he seemed to be enjoying it then. Head shifted for sights to take in the other brother coming to join the welcome party, ears pricking slightly as she righted herself from bowed position. Geez why was he so tense and.. stand-off-ish? BRO YOUR BRAT'S HOME, BE HAPPY. PFFT. She'd give him a stare for a few moments, while she was listening to the explained disappearance reason. Before Zod came rocketing out from the den and all but threw himself at Drak. Smile came back full force and tail wagged, even as she tilted her head watching them. At least someone else appeared to be as happy as she was. Half tempted to throw herself into the little play session, she managed to keep herself standing there. Until she heard and saw the change in Drak, whatever pain it was overcoming him, and she instantly shot over to his side to help him keep his balance. Concerned, she sniffed over him as if trying to find the source of his pains but that didn't help much of course. She could only give a worried huff and let her muzzle shift to press into his cheek fluff. Be careful would ya? But ears would flick to the conversation, otherwise she stood there pressed to his side in protective-mode as long as he didn't move away. Hmph.
Vadimir watched at the revelations in stony silence. His breathing looked to have vanished, and he drew body as if made of stone, all still save his eyes, which rotated in sockets with each of their chosen movements. Zod came in, even as paws shifted in the idea of moving forward. Well, nix that then. He watched the reunion, feeling... boiling. Sad, happy. Terrified. And just about everything in between. "Zey are delicious." Is what Vad would answer for Zod, even as body finally drifted closer and head bowed, intent to grab Zod by the nuts and drag him away from his brother. Scuse me sonny boy you're in my way. If he succeeded Vad would take centre stage, his only reaction to Drak's episode being darkened dread, even if he didn't allow it to breach the outside. Much of Zod's injuries had been internal... did Drak suffer from something similar? "Brat." He started, tone still wonky. Then Vadimir would lower his head, reaching up with a forepaw and began to claw at his jaw wound, ripping scab off so that a fresh flow of red would drip as a waterfall down his throat. He'd then press forward, aiming to rub the crimson tide all over his brother's face, each stroke both gentle, loving, as much as harsh, resolute, and depraved. And once he was done, should Drak have allowed it, Vadimir would casually, calmly, reach forward for his brothers cheek, aiming to grab and rip, slicing through the skin in effort to allow for the same outpour of lifestream. He'd rub himself in it, coating his entire skull red, literally bathing in his siblings blood, before licking the booboo in effort to get the blood to congeal, all the while gazing into Drakob's eyes with a fierceness that defied adequate description. Step 1
Zodiak was in a state of mind reserved for those who held the highest worth to him; those he loved. Body skidded up under the tsar in frenzied affection full of both excited kisses and bites. When drak moved to reciprocate, zod nearly melted in his grasp, pausing in movement for each second the king's fangs were in contact, tail thumping beyond recognition. He shifted to rise, lifting torso up so paws could flail in an attempt to grasp around him. However, action was met with fangs at a familiar spot. The spot along his neck where drak was latched had been the same spot previously aquired in their first fight. OH Nostalgia! An exuberant yowl burst from him, body curving away from the point of contact as paws braced against the tsar. He didn't fight against it, more accepted the rough contact, it was an emotional vent that would eventually allow the boy to calm his shit. Soon thrashing began and gurgled jargan would be spewed at the tsar before there was a shift in posture and release of hm. The tsar dropped and along with him, so did zod. Tail was instantly curled between legs as body shuffled forward to brace against drak as cin braced his side. Concern washed over him as more gentle licks were applied to his cheek as he assumed seated posture. Zod took a step back as he was questioned, tattered ear flicking back. He would hesitate just long enough for vad to chime in and receive darkened gaze with a lingering growl. Don't go there man... He wouldn't receive much time to act before there were jaws around...omg! Yelp wheeled the boy around and vad with open jaws, aiming to chomp at him with pleading bites before finally released. He'd shake out his fur and trot 'round toward cin, scooting up against her side. Hey you, protect mah nuts! Head tilted as he watched the brothers odd bloody display and he'd turn his head toward cin (if she hadn't rejected his closeness) and give a quick nudge under her muzzle, "...what are they doing?..." he whispered, watching the white fur turn to red.
--------Continued 6/18/15
Drakov: Limbs shuttered mildly for but a second, before righting himself out and settling in a sit. Weakness had overcome him in the momment twinging pain had struck, but it seemed once the sensation had dicipated, so too did the weak look that plagued his body. While the majority of his injuries had healed, internal damage was taking longer to do reach 100%. Little did he know... The damage done would never heal fully. Infact, even after getting better the injuries he'd sustained would last forever. Slowly, gradually worsening. Gradually destroying him from the inside out. Though knowledge of this would likely be unknown until months down the line when realization kicks in that it was still lingering. Especially considering.. He was currently thinking very little about his condition, far more concerned with the beings around him instead. Cin and Zod's helpful presences would both offered an almost thankful glance, before attention centered on brother dearest. Nub of a tail began to sway oh so slowly behind him, lip curling lightly as contact was made in the form of bloody affections. Or.. rather.. Bloody claims. Silence growls were given up until teeth met his cheek, to which forced a deep reverberated sound to bellow out from within. Pale bastard stood stoic and unwavering as Vad went about his form of... 'greeting'. Fully prepared to accept whatever so pleased him. The only real actions he offered were instinctive growls, and the occassional push of his face back against Vad to aid in rubbing the two together. Him and Vad. Him and Cin.. It was odd. His attachment to both were so similar, and yet, so different. Polar opposite really, he often forgot just how different. Until momments like this occured.. One after the other, the extreme shift that took place. Not that he minded.
Yusef's rather battered body had healed fairly well, though his mood was still down. He was rarely at the den anymore, constantly searching for Drak or....something intangible, maybe. Maybe he could prove himself in such a way. Maybe...maybe he could work harder, longer.... Push push push push. He needed to push. He needed to be WORTHY of that love, worthy of that respect, worthy of that pride. He needed to carry on the name of Vechnyy, he needed to be the utmost best warrior he could be. Tongue pressed into the missing chunk of flesh from his maw. He was empty handed today, of prey....though he DID bring back a prize. Slung over his shoulder, wet and tattered, HAD SHIT SLUNG THE FUCK OVER HIS SHOULDER GODDAMNIT. Yus was becoming an expert slayer of critters it seemed, but decided since the whole meal was too big to bring back, he'd just bring back PART of it...the head. And so, he paraded with jaw-less head of an elk--antlers and all-- slung over his shoulders. Good boy Yus, now just lead them to the rest of the prey!
Cinnema was kind of bothered by the fact that she couldn't find any sign of problems on Drak, other than his sudden moment of pain, but it wasn't like she could do anything about that for now. Eyes flashed to Zod as he too tried to assist, not that she minded. It was a calm look unlike previous looks given to him. She was much more tolerant of him, now. She nearly jumped through, when Vad came up and tugged on the boy by his balls to get him out of the way. Wow, bro. Dang. You could have asked maybe? Cin remained pressed to Drak's side, head turned into his fluff but eyes watching everyone else. She tensed slightly as Vad came swaggering up, proceeding to rub blood between them. She was more bothered honestly by the fact that he was getting Drak's blood on him and she wasn't. She realized, she knew. How they were around each other and yet, she was itching with jealousy. Even Zod was ignored for the moment. But she didn't want to stand there and be in the way of, whatever this was that she wasn't a part of. With soft growls uttering from her throat, she shifted backward, turning her head while her eyes were still locked on Vad, applying soft nips and bites to Drak's shoulder/side as she pulled away. She didn't want to, but she didn't want to be so close either. Not with snapping emotions rolling around in her stomach. Now Zod was noticed as she put somewhere around 2 feet between her and the brothers, and she glanced down at him briefly. Allowing him to press against her, because really she could care less at the moment. Her ears, having already lowered, pressed to her skull to hear his question. Did she really know? Fuck naw. But, aight, let Vad have his little. Whatever it was he was thinking. She could very well corner Drak and have her own time HEHE. Soft growl again came from her throat, and upon hearing an approach. Did turn her head to see who it was, but her gaze didn't linger on Yusef, only for the fact that she didn't want to turn away from the Tsars.
Vadimir's deep tones returned in full blast as the little ritual played out, eyes never leaving Drak's. Now wasn't the time to speak on his feelings. He could already feeel Cinn's boiling mess ready to tip over and bury him ten feet under. But he had something important to impart to his brother, and in absence of words. This, for now. Would have to do. After they were both thoroughly masked in each other's gore, Vad would pause, jaws terse, before he'd let a small lick be placed upon Drak's cheek. Yep, missed you. Then he'd turn to Cinn, inclining his head toward Drak as if to say, 'okay, take 'em back yo'. At an earlier time Vad would have taken all the growls and huffing an entirely different way. But... he acknowledged that his brother was no longer solely his. And considering how she had showed it all, through perseverance, will-power, and genuinity. That she had earned that right, wholly. "Zank you." He'd say solemnly to her, and then offered his first smile of the day. Looked Vadimir kinda weird under all the red, but it was better than a frown right? Attentions moved to Yusef as he showed up with an elk skull.. oh. Well shit! "Yusef. You zee Drak haz come home?" The answer was obvious, but. Tsar was actually trying to... be a dad. Or whatever he figured being a dad was supposed to be. And part of parenting was... including your kid in shit, right?! "Did Cinn tell you of everyzink zat happened here vhile you vere avay?" He'd ask, attention going back to Drak. He looked like he could still use rest, but that was something to address for another time.
Zodiak sat quietly, head slightly inverted as he watched the ritual play out. hmm well, this was interesting. Gaze shifted back, toward the den momentarily. His pups... they too would have to meet the tsar--not now of course but soon. Cin's mood was rubbing off on him so with a huff he stood and shook, taking a few steps to the side while keeping gaze on the brothers. When Vad had finished, he'd cautiously move to him, muzzle creeping to warily lick at his wound with a puzzled glance at the now 'red-head' vad. There was a slight wag to his tail, but more nerves than anything. He'd never seen such an act before and it was obvious it had to do with affection but the roots of it were unknown to him. When yusef was addressed, he'd shift to approach him, offering a lick to the youngins cheek. YES HE KISSED YUS OMG. Jaws would shift to the head on his back and with gentle tugs he'd pull it to the ground, trying to help the kid. Hopefully that's what he wanted.
Smug had been keeping away from the den and avoiding people yet again. Mostly Monro.... What was she supposed to say? There were too many mixed feelings as a whole that she couldn't decipher which ones pertained to the situation. Her conversation with Vad had helped in that sense though, but opened many more doors of questions than before. It was a whole new world for her. The idea of mating to someone and yet being shared didn't really appease her. It didn't seem deep or real. the idea of becoming permanent to someone, well she just wasn't prepared for that. Not only that, but although her and Mon had become friends - at least from others' descriptions of what friends were - Smug hadn't felt that kind of connection so deep as to long for her like that. Not like she had... Wait... NOPE. Maybe it took longer with females or something? Internalized debate was disrupted by the call and woman immediately changed course. All thoughts on the matter had been pushed aside while neutrality Smug, and task mode slipped into place across her features. Paws brought her to a halt as the scene unfolded before her. Drak? It seemed the Tsar had finally come home. Olive gaze scanned the bodies there, lingering on Vad and Cinn as she studied their moods. It was odd seeing everyone displaying affections so freely. This was how family greeted each other? A family she was apparently a part of, according to Vad. But she still felt like an outsider in comparison. Instead of butting in, woman remained on the side. Head lowered in a respectful greeting while hind legs dropped to a sit. She was wearing her mask but on the inside she was a mix of emotions. Glad to see that the Tsar of whom she owed her life to was home, angry at said Tsar for wreaking the havoc he had in the pack during his absence - especially Vad and Cinn, and sadness that she still felt like an intruder. Maybe she should have waited at the den...
Intice was not exactly what you might call anti social, still - she lacked a certain amount of interaction with the family and the rest of those that made up Vechnyy. Limited interactions had gifted her little in the way of understanding hierarchy or proper manners. A bright, rambunctious little sprite, she was a spitfire full of wit and whimsy if ever there was one. After the adventures of the vomit gravy train and the sibling demolition derby, she had retired to curl near her prized carcass. Sleep had been easy and eyes had found a close as little needle puppy teeth wrapped around the flap of flesh she had deemed her own. A frightful discovery had been found when she'd fund her fresh kill gone - stolen! Much of the time since she'd spent plotting her revenge, and searching for the guilty parties. This crime would not go un-punished! Still, she remained a victim of her child mind, her limited but growing reasoning holding her back from proper investigation. She'd learned some things, and picke dup on others. Little lass was a sponge, soaking up all the new and amazing knowledge the world had to behold. Today, sounds from the outside world had found way to her ears, finding her in her slumber. Well, what the hell! She'd over slept, again. Growling, she rolled - heaving all her weight onto her paws to push herself up and make her way to the entry of the hollow where she'd been nestled. Twas a bright and wonderous day. She'd learned well not to look skyward, last time the assault on her eyes had been a swift and hard lesson. The orange yellow ball of fire was not your friend! Do not look at it! This time, head remained at a suitable neutral position, eyes blinking slightly at the light change as she narrowed them to find something or someone she recognized. There was a lot going on out here today, oh my. There were some big guys that looked like bad asses - but of course her Daddy was the biggest badass, Daddy's girl you know. Scars and wounds were dusting every adult she met here - was her family some sort of warrior clan? Mental note - become friends with the big guys, maybe they could help her become a big guy, too. She'd huff - right now she was just a scrawny little shit. barely noticable in the sea of mountainous badassery. A few others were about, including a growly female. Hrm. WELL no time like the present! BARK. BARK. Lungs released her greeting, that was how it was done, yes? She'd take care not to startle any of these big ones - she didn't want to piss them off! Gulp. Prancing paws carried her confidently onward, albiet with still a bit of sway. Legs were learning and muscles were growing, and at least she could manage such a long walk without falling flat on her face now. That was the moment she saw her dear ol' Dad, and all bets were off! Tail began to whirl behind her, rump swinging with the force as if it were a jet propeller, whirling in her wake. Paws shuffled, oversized ears and paws lumbering towards her mark as she'd squeal in delight. "MAD!" yes, look at me, hi, hello! I am here! "MAD MAD MAD MAD." Containment of her energy and excitement was impossible, and as she'd make her way to Zod she would giggle-bark in delight. "MY Mad!" Unleash the tongue! Slipping from the confines of her mouth, small pink tongue would reveal itself as ivories parted and several wet and sloppy kisses were attempted - but wait, what is this sorcery? What was he doing? Kissing another? How rude! Oh hell no, bro. Nostrils flared in a not so flattering inhale, eyes closing a moment as if the tiny terror was calming herself. They opened and became slit eyes within an instant, and the small sassy shit would barrel herself in an attempt to worm her way between them. Battle cry was low, growl was more of a hiccup than a snarl - small milk teeth moved to catch a bite of Yu's cheek fluff gently, body twicting to slide in between them and ppuuusssshhh with her front paws to Yu - Dis mine, get off! For all her attempts and grumpings, however, the little challenger soon found that she was plum tuckered out. Ho hum. If all of her efforts were successful and she was were she intended to be, she would slide down to her belly and turn her eyes to Yu, glaring with a warning bark. "Mine." Get your own. Just because she was tired did not mean she was givign up, oh no! Come at me, bro.
Drakov: Eyes had found themselves shutting as the act pressed on, almost soothed by the contact. Even though he held it more in terms of punishment. So to speak... They had a peculiar relationship, where love and hostility were one in the same, and while he bared no submissive outward appearance, standing still and accepting the act he was given was one of submissive means. Though short lived as it were. As the two split, eyes revealed themselves and quickly took note of Cin lingering in the distance looking not so pleased. It took a sizeable amount of effort not to laugh, masked by a flick of tongue acrossed his teeth. "Net? Vhat did I miss? Anysing interesting. Anyvon die?" Harhar, all in good humor.. sort of.Cough. Shoulders rolled, front limbs slide acrossed the ground to flop him onto his belly, for it seemed a bit of catching up was to be had. And the exhausted Tsar prefered to be nice and comfy for it. Ear tufts twitched, attention flicking from face to face. Talking wasn't usually his thing but it was a no brainer there would be plenty of that today. Especially with so many up and about. The joining trio, though all at different times, were all regarded with a glance and a nod of light greeting. Well.. Not all of them. The child was given more of a disgusted, puzzled look. Ew.. Was this one of Zod's kids? So some had been allowed to live, eh? That was... a good sign thus far, right? He'd almost thought they'd all perished what with Vad's comment earlier. Eyes stared long and hard for a momment, watching it's every movement. And more specifically.. Watching Yus. Little shit had done such a thing to him, well.. Yus knew the outcome of such acts!
Yusef's gaze trailed towards Drak. His little heart stopped. Second daddy? YOU'RE BACK?! AND ALIVE?! But...but something was wrong, something missing, something...lesser, about the white beast that was Drakov. He couldn't place it....and it troubled him. Of course he had been troubled always--as soon as his childish mind had begun to hit puberty, new emotions and thoughts had flooded him, and tangled his emotions and heart into a mess of confusion. Even so, he waited for his chance and when Drak finally plopped that ass down, Yus leaned over and gently rested his scarred skull against the Tsar's. The permanent limp in his walk now seemed more prominent when he moved slowly. He said nothing--no words. Just this touch. And he would have been satisfied with that, had the little pupperito that he and Vad DIDN'T eat not decided to attack him. His head snapped to the side as soon as he felt those tiny teeth try to grasp his flesh, and he had every intention of teaching the little spoiled brat a lesson. Had he managed to graba hold of her, he would clamp his teeth around her little mid-section and give her a violent, jarring shake before tossing his head back and throwing her into the air, before snapping at her to grab at her tail and swing her around in a wide, violent arch before sinking his jaws deep into ther weak and tender flesh of her bootie to tear her tail right off. That said and done, he would take one paw and slap her body to the side, sending her rolling and sprawling back to the stone side of the den. LUCKY TO BE ALIVE, BITCH.
Cinnema kept eyes lingering on what was going on with the Tsars, until it ended and she was acknowledged by Vad. Just a blood bath, that was all, and she was more chill again. Eyes flickered to Drak, wishing to wander over to where he was again. But a moment of pause would be there instead of moving instantly. Remember, he can take care of himself! She shifted her attention to Yusef despite conversation going on, now able to focus on the others coming to join them. Head raised to spot Smug off to the side, and her skull tilted. Hrm, why was she over there? Sure, Cin still cared about who was spending time with Vad and the other people she loved, but, it seemed less important while Drak was back. A small smile was offered, maybe that would entice her to come join them. No move could be made toward Yus as she wished, however, since a little thing came running out and growling all over the place. Intice earned a look of disdain from Cin, her head lowering and considering assisting. But quite obviously there was no need to assist in teaching the furball her place. Though, Zodiak might not enjoy the outcome of it and she knew that. Babes earned stuff, they didn't get to demand what was theirs. Nope nope. After the kid was tossed to the side, the queen would step forward to sniff along the side of Yus, just checking over quick so she could be aware if there was any injuries on him too. Before tongue lapsed over his skull near where his ear would have been, and she turned to the side to sit down next to Drakov, hind leg touching his side. Oh yeah, conversation. "Nah, no one's died. Some of us were quite nearly there, though, when we got into it with the bear." OH HELL she'd forgotten to get its skull. NOTE TO SELF, DO THAT LATER. Gaze would shift to Smug, remembering that she'd practically swooped in and saved all their asses. Cin shifted, head bending to gaze at the lovely scars that now lingered on her stomach. Hohum that had been fun. Look flashed over to Vad. "I think some promotions were handed out, weren't there?" She knew that had been in order, but she was fuzzy on the details of who and what etc. Nice time to catch up on business hm?
Vadimir allowed most things to roll off his shoulders, but the matter here was a different story. One that would have to take time, effort. But the first step had been completed, and for the time being, he could just relax. Vad shifted to the ground, paws folded, eyes scanning about them all. He caught sight of Smug, but before he could really acknowledge her presence Zod came in intending to cleanse his face. He looked back at him, brow quirked. Dun look at me like dat. You've known me as cray cray since day one! Jaws would seek for Zod's scruff, giving a sharp, but appreciating tug. The puppy rushing in shrieking singular word was stared at, but quickly as she came, Yusef beat the ever living daylights out of her. Ironic... that's precisely what he had done to Yus, all those years ago. Talk about lasting impressions! "Look, Zod. Your child iz very appealink now, yez?" Tails were always such a bleh factor. He'd even consider convincing Zod to relinquish his, but he seemed just so attached to it! Mm, perhaps another time. Cinn directing happenings toward him met with a >:I face like FUQ WOMAN WHY. He didn't waannaaaaa. "Da. Zod iz Voin, Smug," He'd nod toward her, all the while staring like I SEE YOU OVER DERE GURL, "Iz Soldat, und Nida iz now Nastavnik. Zey all earned zeir new titlez, und have been vorkink hard to keep them zince. Zough quite a few of ze vons zat vere zupposed to be here, have been absent az of late." He'd then detail happenings with Cortes, Monro, Vaska, Valiria, and so on. He loathed having to say so much at once, all the moreso because of growing familiarity with it all. But he would hash it out. Though he was gonna get Cinn back at it... maybe put a rotting duck penis under her pillow. Huehuehuehue....
Zodiak's assistance with vad was seemingly appreciated and imaginary brow quirked at his gaze. Yeah your cray so imma look at you like your cray. Tail wavered when scruff was grabbed and he mouthed at the tsar before shifting to yus where kiss would be applied. His child entering the scene was rather unexpected as dubbed nickname spewed out in repetition. Head would turn to greet the pup, nomming on her head and providing a lick before shocked expression washed over him as she went for yusef. Oh...well shit. In the quick moment of her actions yus had snatched up his child, shaken her and tossed her about like a beanbag. A low growl rumbled deep, and only when yusef's head was inclined did zod send a harsh snap toward the location of where an ear was supposed to be on the boy. Snorting he'd trot over to retreive his wounded child, grabbing by midsection and curling lip to reveal fangs that grasped her fragile body. Vad's comment didn't necesarilly help the situation and he'd receive a hard stare before the event was shaken from him and he'd trot over to none other than vadi himself and plop down beside him with pup between paws. There was no point in causing a fuss over what was happening to his kids, she'd stepped out of line anyway and it was better than having her killed. Tongue swiped over bloodied rump until bleading ceased before attention was given as vad spoke of promotions. He'd gaze to drak for a moment before twisting his head toward smug with a sway of his tail and tilt of head. Girl why you over there?! Come hither! He'd eye her momentarily before turning attention back to the pup. Hopefully he wasn't seen as babying her too much, just saving his ass from mamabear.
Smug watched with passive interest at the family reunion and then the spat between Yus and the pup. She had caught the smile given to her by Cinn but had quickly become distracted by the beatdown. Gaze was shifted back to her as Zod went to fetch his tyke. She wasn't one much for bragging so she dipped her head as thanks for the recognition. Head shifted to look at her own scars as Cinn did, memory casting back to dashing under the bear to pull Zod away and then saving the dumbass Vad from being crushed. Idiot. A smirk touched her face before sights shifted back to the congregation, finally breaking her blankness. "Your idiot of a brother tried to get himself squashed like a bug, so I had to intervene. Hope y'all lost some weight since then... your asses were heavy." Paws had pushed her to a stand and moved her closer as they called to her with minute actions to do so. She had a light and teasing tone though part of it fell flat. That was the frustrations she was feeling towards the situation peaking out. Frame paused by Yus, not sure who to sit by. If he gave her the okay, she would lower frame to sit there and if not, she would move over to lay by herself. Cinn was with Drak and Zod with Vad. Shrug. Eyes inspected Drak while the other Tsar filled him in on all of the happenings. As he neared the end of all that talking, gaze would turn to stare at him. Huh... even she hadn't known all of that.
Intice was quite possibly the most clueless of her siblings. She'd no idea how the pack worked, or any of the actions against her now dead siblings. Ahh ignorance and innocence of a child. Except, in this case - it could get you killed. This lesson was one learned very swiftly. Perhaps a good thing that she learn now, at such a tender age, before her mouth matched her attitude and more than just a lesson was dealt. She could learn from this. If only she would take the lesson and work with it. Everything was happening so fast around her, small mind could barel process it - ADHD in it;s prime held the pup's attentions in sway. She had much to learn. Perhaps she was preoccupied and felt untouchable, with no reason to fear nor respect those outside her little bubble. Well, that changed in a real quick minute, didn't it!? Suddenly, she was rounded on by Yusef, and, being in her current location - where would she have gone? There was little time to react, and her window to save herself was limited. Twas no surprise the larger wolf snapped her right up, even as she moved to press into her father in an attempt to get away from those sharp teeth. The pressure to her middle was nearly unbearable, and a soft whine escaped her lungs as the pain shot through her little body. With a great toss she was airborne, small body somersaulting in a twist as she would struggle to right herself - only causing further pain. Ouch. She'd topple forward as she fell, legs and tail flailing madly as the ground went up and down as her body fell not so gracefully. Teeth were swift to snap again, the angle of her body allowing a grab to her tail - luckily robbing her of a complete tail rip and bad ass booty bite. Tail was removed and taken as a mark of her shame, little numb tail covered in blood; wet and unattractive. Aww that was her favorite part! There was little time to think about any of this as she was dealt her lesson. As she'd be sent on her way in a turn of twists and well aimed attacks, she was left with rapid breathing - eyes widened with understanding - Don't fuck with others. Got it. Her entire idea of life had suddenly changed, and as she was sure she would be left to bleed to death and nurse her own wounds (drama queen, much?) she was swiftly snatched by Dad. After everything she was simply ready - understanding that she was weak and small and frail, and they - the adults and larger pups were big and strong and wise. So, she closed her eyes and braced herself for him to grab her - perhaps it was Papa bear's turn to deal discipline. Instead, she was gently plucked from harm and carried to one of the big bad asses, where Mad cleaned her wounds and held her still. She would allow the grooming, not a single protest nor peep rolling from her lungs despite the intense pai she felt in several areas of her small body. In this moment she found a new resolve. Be strong and smart - and be friend with the bad asses, not enemies. Got it. Silence found her lips and she would simply hunker down and ruck tail- er nub, so to speak. Twas not that she was a coward, she had just learned there was a time and place for all things - and right now it was in her best interest to shut up and observe. Besides, with the sheer amount of pain she felt, she sure the hell did not want to waste any energy. One passing glance was given to Yu as he vanished intot he den, her prized tail in tow. Poor little tail, you were a good friend - you didn't deserve what Ice sentenced you to with her antics. Farewell, friend. Little eyes blinked and she'd lay her head on Mad's paw and gaze up to the others as she bestowed a single lick to Zod's paw. Sorry, Daddy.
Drakov: Paws crossed, Cin's presence forcing head to crane and follow her position. After a momments pause, eyes would shift away and gear towards the rest of the conversation whilst body slumped to the side so as to lean against the pale woman. Ah.. Bout fucking time he relaxed. Which was wierd to think about.. Drak didn't usually like relaxing.. And no doubt it was something that would fade awful quickly. But energy needed to be recovered first and foremost. Though, it seemed his chill demeanor would go as fast as it came. "Ze bear? You killed it?" Though words were a question, he spoke it more in excited disbelief. Emotions soon enough took to wirl sporatically. Excitement, relief, frustration, then anger.. He was oh so glad it got what it had coming! Relieved they wouldn't have to deal with it again. Frustrated he couldn't handle it on his own, and then infuriated.. Infuriated that he surcame to near death, when he could have just stayed home and waited. Stayed home and edalt with it with everyone else. Son of a bitch.. He made a poor choice, purely caused by rampant feelings braught on by Cin's declaration of her love for him. There would be no more of this nonsense.. Brows narrowed, gaze staring hard at the ground for a time until at last he shook away his thoughts and returned to that neutral state of being he was known for. "Pozdravlyayu. Congrats Zod, Smug. I zaw many vere earning zere place before I left." Many were need of a promotion long ago, it was good they had been dished out even in his absence. Now to handle those... Less deserving.. Those whome have earned naught by the boot. "Just az zere vere a few begging for mine fangs before I left, azvell.. Zod. I vant you to watch our Sluzhit's, anyvone you sink is unvorthy of staying, report back to me. Attack zem randomly, make zem hunt. Make zem fight each osser. I vill be watching too." But of course.. When you have the Tsar's breathing down your neck you're likely to act different than if another pack member were to do so. Drak wanted an accurate reading on there standings. Not just a one time deal to suck up to the Tsar's. He wanted to see how they would serve Vechnyy, not serve him. Yus's gift of sorts geared him away from serious talk, a smirk plagueing his features as nose tilted down to inspect the object. Though he might never say it, the pale bastard was oh so proud of his remaining sons. Or... son.. Depending on what had happend with Dermo. Hohum. Tongue rolled acrossed the skull to smear the smell of his saliva against it to claim the object. "On anosser note.. I 'ave a debt to pay. A voman by ze name of Conner, Queen of Saga, fed me vhen I vas on ze verge of death. If anyvon is to come acrossed her in need before I fullfill my debt, you are to assist. Until my debt is settled, Vechnyy is at her disposal."
Vadimir watched Zod's reaction to Yusef's doings... then to his glare. OOPS DID I SAY DAT OUT LOUD :3 would be his reaction, visually, but when Zod came to rest beside him, Vadimir would, if allowed, lean over and aid in the grooming process. There I can be nice to puppies, see. Even if it's only my evil ploy to get a taste in, MWEHEHEHE. Even as he aided Zod, if he had been given the chance to, main attentions would still remain on Drak. His reactions, what he had to say. It wasn't a terrible amount, but it was a start. Truth was there were many other things Vadimir wished to impart... particularly dealing with that of shrooms. But he knew better than to open that can of worms in front of everyone. That was... just best left alone for now. "Not my fault you needed me to help you realize your muscle left zomezink to ze imagination." He'd call back toward Smug in a cocky drawl, black lips quirked at the edges. You wanna start dishing out sass? I CAN DISH OUT DEM SASS. Vadimir's ears perked up when Drak began speaking of tasks for Zod, only for his smile to grow. Been there, done that! But he wouldn't mention it. Hell, say it again so everyone in earshot got the full message. Time to kick those asses in gear, or get the FUCK OUT. Humor would fade some when he heard about debts... of Saga... of.... "I know zem. Me, Cortez, Vaska, und Vali met zem vhen ve vere zearchink for a new den." Really... he had been there, and yet in all his time searching. He couldn't find his brother? Metaphorical dick rammed up his butthole and ruined his entire year. But he'd stay chillax and reserved, letting all those feels boil beneath the surface for now. He could let it out when the time was prudent.
Zodiak lay grooming his child, hoping in time they would find their place among the others. Really he was proud of the pups, they had the same spark in them that the tsars chilldren had. It was strange, as if they'd been the ones to boink nida and not him. hurrhurr but no their caramel coats were proof that was just coincidence. Vad moved in to help clean the babe, catching zod a little by suprise. He paused, eyeing the tsar, before giving him a few licks to his ear. Muzzle soon declined back to the whelp, grooming efforts shifting northbound to it's head. Smugs comment had him smirking a toothy grin, twisting to look toward her, "It'll be hard with the abundance of prey" he grinned. It was true tho, they were all becoming fatties with all this food being hauled in everyday. It was nice though, to have food around and see some of the pack making the effort to provide. The sad fact, however, was it could not be said for the entire bulk of vechnyy. Gaze drifted to drak, receiving orders he was all to aware of. It only served to make him more eager to perform said tasks, now that both the tsars were expecting the same from him. He nodded "Sol proved her skill yesterday.." he gave a light wag of his tail, still feeling the twinge of pain at it's base along with the other scars adorned on his face. He'd continue to remain attentive, listening to the rest of the information about the alpha that aided drak. He was grateful they had helped, but at the same time wished drak had never left to begin with.
Smug watched the boy move off and head to the den just as she came up beside him. Ouch. Do I smell or something? Attention didn't linger on it for long as pursed look turned into a smirk at their reactions. Amused eyes first found Vad and lip curled to reveal a toothy grin. "You're just bitter I had to come save your fat ass." Gaze shifted between the two, offering a wink and a little sassy ass wiggle. "You like my muscle," she teased them. Frame lowered into a sit after that when Drakov dished out his orders for Zod. She was proud of Zod for working hard and getting what he deserved in praises from both Tsars. She had noticed an influx of the number of bodies in the pack and food, though there were a lot of idle hands and slackers hanging about as well. At least she wasn't one of them and on the bad side of their wrath. Throughts drifted to wonder where Monro sat in their eyes... And Cron. She didn't know many other newbies besides them. Eyes returned to Drak as he announced the debt Saga and Connor, intrigued by being at her whim. She really must have left an impression to warrant that reaction from the Tsar. She felt pain inside as she hated herself for not having been one of the ones to find him and care for him. She owed him her life and yet she had done little in return.
Drakov: Posture shifted, straightening back up in clear indication of more profound focus. Those that departed were noted, Cin included in the gang, but apart from a mild glance he was more focused on those whome had stayed. "Vell no vonder I could not find mine way back.. I do not know ze land to ze vest." Which was something that erked his every nerve.. There neighbors needed to be discovered, there locations even more so. Had he known specifics about Saga, he could have found his way back on his own. Seeing as Zod was given a task, even if.. little did he know.. It was something Vad had already covered, someone else would be tasked with phase two of his return. Or rather SomeoneS. "I vant to set up scouting groups to meet ze osser packs. Learn zere name, leaders, und locations." It served multiple purposes. No more fucking getting lost.. And no surprises in terms of rival packs. Gaze cast to Smug, clearly indicating she would partake. Though how exactly he'd need to figure out. Perhapes he could use this as ample opportunity to test the Sluzhit as well. -Tap chin-. The cocky banter back and forth amongst the group was barely noticed if at all. He was thinking alittle harder than he probubly should be, what with needing rest still. Hohum. Not enough focus to multitask more than business. It was obvious considering how calm and unmoving he was.
Vadimir flicked his ear at Zod, though no further words would be imparted while he finished up cleaning the whelp. When he was finished, that baby bottom was shining like beaten gold! He'd snort in Zod's face like HAH see, I can do this parenting thing. He'd preen and cast himself loftily, leaning against the new father in an exaggerated fashion. Yes, put on that act Vad. Put 'em all on so you don't hafta go through 20 questions. HARD STARE AT SMUG. Drak's added missions had Vadimir straightening, eyes lit with excitement. Ooohhh, perfect! "Gud idea. Perfect opportunity for trainink." And for turning anyone who didn't perform beautifully into a delicious steak. YESSS. "Do you know about ze estrus bunker?" If he did not, then Vad would explain it! Huehuehue. What a brilliant critter was he. Even if most of the females hated it. Though Cinn seemed dandy about it so... BAM. "How zoon vould you vant a contigent to march out?" He would be delighted to leading one of them himself, perhaps Cinn could the other, and together they could be the mighty planateers! Finding people to chat it up with, see what their intentions were... and report back their findings/spoils. Sounded like a field day to Vadimir.
Zodiak's tail thumped as vad leaned into him, giving gentle nips to his ears and cheek fluff. Boy nearly choked on his own tongue at smugs initial response, smirking toward vad. Haaaa she got you! Her second comment and wiggle had him tilting his head a little, shifting subtly to turn attention to drak. Scouting?! Oh yes please?! Zod was getting a tad stirr crazy and bounded at the chance to explore beyond the territory. Sure he had pups but nida was far recovered from the birthing process and seemed perfectly capable in his absence. "I could...Gather a couple Sluzhits?" he offered, hoping his intentions wouldn't leave them going and him staying behind. Whatever their decision he'd follow, wanting only to do what was best for the pack. Vad's mentioning of the estrus bunker had eyes rolling and head turning away with a huff. He still wasn't happy about that little fact, thoughts drifting to sol who'd had a front row seat to His and nida's...Celebration. A yawn and stretch would have him rising to all fours, shaking out his pelt and leaning down to lick at the pup onece more.
Smug snickered at the boys' reactions, at least she was amused. Woman perked up when Drak talked about scouting missions. Oh that sounded fun. When he glanced to her with that look, butt set to wiggling a little. Wow... that was something it had never done to be honest. What was with her...? She was acting so bipolar and bubbly. Tch. She calmed herself before pushing up into a stand and trotting over to the returned Tsar to greet him properly now that the crowd had thinned. "I am at your service," she said before jaws parted to grip his now-crimson maw between hers if he allowed it. Hold would only last a moment before she pulled away, happy to do something, anything, for him. She had to make up for her failures somehow. Vad's words reached her and head swung round to look at him though she stayed where she was. Training? She wanted more training. ALL ZE TRAINING. She had kinda screwed with teacher's plans yesterday for training... oops. Rear lowered to the ground and head stretched up while shoulders rolled. She was pretty much ignoring the whole bunker thing like she did every time. Woman would bridge that gap when the time came. "Vadimir is training me for Voin. I would love the opportunity to further my training." Words came as chin came back down and she returned to the present.
Drakov: Nub of a tail flicked behind him, still pondering over a number of things in his own cranium. "Da. Exactly. Opportunity for Sluzhit to prove zere vorth, and for ranked members to show vhat zey can do in zere new positions." Hint hint at Zod. Could he handle the resposibility put on him? Could anyone once they rose in ranks? Most thought shit was hard now... When you weren't expected to perform above and beyond. When a large portion of tasks were left to there own whims, to prove personal desire to rise and become known. But once you found rank? You were given high expectations that needed to be fullfilled. Trust was given from the Tsar's, and in breaking it you asked for a good asswoopin. Let's see who has what it takes shall we? Harhar. "I sink going in groups of two to three would be best. Cover more land. " Rather than half the pack going one way and half going the other. They would all disperse a number of directions, less bodies to keep track of, more focus on an indivuduals abilities. Aka.. It was judgement day for the Sluzhit and the Soldat! Members would soon be getting promotions, or getting the boot the fuck out of Vechnyy. Yurp. Pleasantries for the idea came to a grinding hault however when Vad spoke up, more out of reaction thank anything. He flicked gaze to the bastard and stared in puzzlement for but a momment. Estrus Bunker?... "Net?.. Bunker?" What did that even mean exactly? ... Welp, He cleared it up pretty quickly. And in turn.. Drak found himself busting out laughing. BAHA. The fact such a thing was required, even more so.. the mental image of it taking place.. It was to much. How fucking hilarious is that. Breath was recovered, though smirk of amusement remained ever present."Good idea, da. Reminds me.. Sings vill be changing soon. Ranks, responsibilities. Mine being away gave me un idea." Or.. rather.. It made him realize a number of things could be change to improve the pack. To coax everyone into there responsibilities, and more specifically.. to cover a few bases he hadn't expected to be needed. Like.. They would need an estrus bunker guard now. Hohum. New system would allow for such a thing, it was just a matter of working out the kinks and establishing where pre-existing members stood. "Ze sooner ze better. As zoon as groups can be formed, head out. As much as I vish to assist, somevon must stay behind und vatch ze pack. Und I don't sink im in condition yet to travel again. So. I vill be staying behind. Report back any news." Smug's approach drew his attention away from business talk once more. Gaze veering up, lip curling as she approached and aim to wrap teeth around his muzzle. He'd beat her to the punch! Teeth splitting to catch his assault by clamping teeth around her bottom jaw. Though.. He was not aggressive about it all despite his appearance. Nono. Infact he was quit gentle despite how quick and fluid his movements were. Only a second hold was given before he released and replaced his hold with a lick to her muzzle.
