Catching Up (10:03:55) Cinnema had spent yesterday checking borders, exploring territory, and generally keeping away from the den. Not too far, but not staying in the courtyard either. She knew is was likely for her sister and Drakov to be there, so instead of walking on in with uncertain emotions lingering that she possibly couldn't control, she took time to calm down and focus again. All this while out and about, though mostly sticking around the river because of how sore she was. The wounds she'd gotten from Drak were stinging and annoying her. But even though she would've liked to stay away for a bit, responsibility lurked at home. Queens didn't get time to wander off and avoid the pack. Nope, one day was good enough. So in the morning she'd gone to the river, bathed, and come back, lovely wounds bore upon her face and fur still dripping wet. Ears pricked and eyes scanned the landscape, features pulled into a careful blank and resuming tall posture. Hopefully prepared to take on the day. (10:10:30) Hadlee had spent the majority of the day prior still in her unwanted slumber. While the wounds lay on her body, there was damage to her wakefulness that was only cured with sleep. So, that was what Hadlee was forced to do. As the morning drifted into the day, she finally opened those dulled brown eyes to the courtyard that she feared being in. Still, there was no leaving. That was known all too well. Her life was there and at risk. For now, she would remain and be of this mess of a group that they had formed. While she could not reach her festering wounds around her neck and face, she remained calm. While Hadlee remained in the courtyard alone, it did not take long for another to come. Thankfully or not, her sister took to her sights and allowed for Hadlee to have a rather uneasy feeling in her stomach. The woman cleared her throat before speaking out. "Cin." Was all she could say. The pain for the wounds on her neck were enough to keep her silent, but she knew far too well that she had to speak with the woman. So, she waited in silence, allowing for her sister to grab the moment if she so dared. (10:28:14) Cinnema. Her eyes didn't notice her sister in the first moment, but in the second her eyes were locked on the pale form. She steeled herself against the churning feeling that made her want to snarl in her face. No, that wouldn't do, they needed to talk.. Figure out where they stood and what was next. So she swallowed unease and took steps forward, water dripping from her fur. Cin would tilt her head a little, remaining a decent distance away. "Hadlee.. Lee." Because fuck their names they'd been given. Green gaze would travel over the other woman's wounds, the missing ear. "What did Vadimir say? You're alive, obviously, so that's something." He hadn't killed her, which was slightly surprising. Hadn't he said that was the price for abandoning and coming back? Oh, who knew what was going on in his mind. The queen would flick an ear, the one now with a notch in it thanks to Drak. "You're staying?" Her voice was flat and cautious, trying to puzzle this out like she wasn't used to.. (10:33:33) Hadlee didn't force herself forward. While her broken body lay on the ground below, she stared up to her sister. Pain ran over here in far more ways than one. No matter, this was still her sister. "Nothing that I can remember. He gave me a good nap though." While sarcasm laced her tone, she quickly brought it back. She was alive, but that didn't mean that she would remain that way. The wounds were proof enough that her life had no meaning to those around. Better not to tempt them. While her sister spoke out once more, her eyes moved over her features, trying to gather what she was feeling. Nothing came to mind, leaving the woman rather uncomfortablle with the whole situation. "I am." Her words would likely not be taken as truth. After all, she hadn't stayed the first time. Why would she remain now?(10:59:06) Cinnema knew they were still family, but so far in her life that didn't seem to have meant much. Their parents had left them to themselves, to either starve or survive, and who knew what had happened to possible other siblings they didn't remember. Cin had been overjoyed to reconnect with Hadlee in the first place, being a littermate she remembered and loved, but then she'd gone off who knew where even after losing her tail in order to stay.. It stung and she wasn't inclined to trust too freely now. Probably something everyone had learned given how she'd attacked her sister.. Cin snorted in response to first comment. Wow Vad good job. The point had been to sort this out and figure out what to do, not knock her out and leave the queen with the pieces. Green eyes flashed with emotion leaking through to hear she was staying. Ears flicked back briefly then pressed forward. A pained look came over her face as she struggled with keeping that away. "Are you, really? I've heard that before. And, you know, they didn't. You didn't." A snarl was creeping its way into her voice and tail was slowly rising as she stood there and stared Hadlee down. "Why, now? Because you have to, because your life is at risk?" Eyes narrowed and she stood there, keeping herself from quivering but unable to help the distrust and anger boiling up again. Less so than before, because of all the venting as seen by fresh wounds upon her face from Drak, but it was still there nonetheless. (e) (11:10:16) Hadlee watched in silence as she waited for her sisters words to fall on her. The mistakes had been made. She had done just as their parents had done to them. Now what? Would she find a way to push from the world that she had been born from? Perhaps. For now, she stared up to her sister, finding the anger there all too easily. A small breath touched the air in a short amount of time, allowing for her tension to free her just a tad. "I did leave. I am here now. While last night I might have said because my life is in danger, today that is not the case." Her eyes trailed the wounds on her sister's face, looking for what she was entering into. "I am staying because I hurt you just like they did. I see it on your face. I fell it in the wounds that you gave me. I won't cause you that again, Cin. I won't."(11:32:32) Cinnema wondered, even though it seemed they had much to reconnect and fix, if Hadlee really could find her place here and fit in, if the Tsars allowed it. She was so different from them, so different from Cin, even, that it was quite the question. Perhaps, a reason she'd left in the first place. Not that the queen would understand, used to this life as she was. A frown replaced the snarl upon her face after a moment of continued conversation. Could she really dare to hope it would work? Her eyes closed for a minute as she forced the anger to subside, though traces of it were not easy to be rid of. "I'd hope so," she'd say in a quiet voice, opening her eyes and closing distance between them cautiously. If allowed she'd lower herself to lay beside Hadlee, jaws opening for tongue to lick at the wounds she'd given her. There wasn't any need for them to get infected, no.. "Your place is here then, upon proving it.. I'll talk to the boys." She had a soft certainty about saying that and just knew she wanted a chance to have her sister around, as tongue would continue to carefully groom and remove blood from Lee's fur. (11:37:14) Hadlee watched the woman as the anger left her mostly untouched. While her mind grew more stable, it seemed as if Lee was in a place that she was unsure of. She loved her sister as she had when they were children, but this was not the life that she had grown in. Violence for the sake of violence was not something that she was use to. this was her life now whether she liked it or not. When her sister approached, there was no movement. Only a silent agreement as she allowed for her sister to clean the battered spot where one ear use to be. A small sigh lifted into the air as she stayed silent for a few long moments. "You love them." It was a observation that needed to be said. It needed to be understood by Lee and she knew it would take time to understand, but at least she was on the way to doing so.(11:58:32) Cinnema let the repetitive process of cleaning her sister's wounds calm her down again from being pushed toward a worse mindset. It was something to focus on and a little bit of an opportunity to readjust to being together. Possibly. Until the silence was broken by a simple statement, causing her to freeze in the process of moving on to the neck wounds. Tongue retreated back within her jaws, and she frowned again, had to think about that.. It was weird for it to be said aloud, but otherwise.. "My pack.. Drakov. Yes." Hard as it was to admit and say, she felt it was a step forward. Slight shiver ran through her, realizing she was actually saying she loved the alpha to someone other than him, or herself. This was so different for her, but telling someone else, confirming it, almost made her feel a little better somehow. Not that it changed anything. Tongue resumed grooming. "This is my home and my pack, and I'd lay my life down for them." (12:08:04) Hadlee sat in comfort as her sister gifted her with the comfort of grooming and cleaning her wounds. There would be a long way to go from here. There would be a lot to accomplish before they would be comfortable, but it was a start. She spoke and it was almost as if she regretted it. Her eyes closed in a soft moment before she nodded to her sister's words. She loved the crazed boys and their pack. This was her life and what she had grown to want. Lee couldn't take that away from her. As the silence came once more, she opened her eyes and spoke out in a rather hushed tone. "Giving your life for those you love. It's quite the idea." While she was on her way to being able to give her life for her sister, it would taike time to regain that bond that they had once had. She knew it all too well.(12:25:40) Cinnema let her gaze travel over the pale woman who was so like herself. With time, maybe they'd get that bond back and this wouldn't be weird anymore. Her head would tilt as she'd pause, however not tensing up now. "They didn't leave. This is where I was instead of being alone." She allowed a smile across her features, though her words were kind of sour. "And anyway, I wouldn't be much of a queen if I weren't willing to protect them, right?" Maybe others didn't see it that way, but she didn't want to, in any way, be unable to do anything for Vechnyy. Otherwise she didn't deserve to be here with the rank she had. Didn't deserve to like being who she was or feel anything for anyone here. Pfft. Cin would move her head to nudge the side of Lee's face gently, shrugging. "Strange way to think for some people, I guess, devoting yourself to something that looks so violent." Even despite the wounds that would form scars upon her face, she didn't see it like that.
Discovery of the Shrooms + More Drama (14:17:43) Drakov: OH WHAT A DAY. Shit just never ended did it. Hell no Drak. You aughta know that by now. PFFT. Rather than tuck himself away as was his usually morning routine, to get some not HOT AS FUCK rest under his belt. Naw. That was unneeded today! It had poured over night, and Drak was oh to content to settle himself under a nearby tree and enjoy the cool breeze and pleasant chill of each liquid drop that hit him. By the time it'd stopped, not that it'd lasted hella long, he'd been soaked all the way through. Keeping him cool as the sun broke over the tree line and beat down against the earth and everything on it. First good sleep he'd gotten for a few days, the likes of which would have lasted longer had he not dried out. Single eye winced open, the white curled up marshmellow taking a momment to lazily scan about the area for anything worth his attention. Bah. Nothing was right in view, but then again he wasn't awful close to the den. More south along the water. With a groan, shoulders rolled and he'd shift to stand with a stretch. UUGHHH. Damn he was kinda sore today, still! Gotten way to into it with Cin it would seem.. Missing chunks of flesh along cheek and ear had scabbed over, entangled with fur and dirt and already proving to be itchy as fuck. God damnit. He needed to clean the fucking thing again.. Sigh. River it is then. Slow and smooth he strolled to the point of water and waded in, head quick to dunk so as to soak his wounds. Mm. Just get dry and we're wet again. Ladeda. (14:42:09) Cinnema had sat at the den and cleaned all the wounds she'd inflicted upon Hadlee until her sister had fallen asleep, leaving her to her thoughts. She'd said she would talk to the Tsars about Lee being there with them, given that she'd sworn not to cause Cin all that pain again and would have to do stuff to prove her place here. That was the queen's own thought, otherwise it wasn't likely they'd let wayward sister stay. After some time Cin pushed herself away and to her feet, stretching tension away. While she was mentally in a general good place, her body was still tense and sore, probably more so than Drak's considering she wasn't as used to fighting like that as he was. And given she'd avoided the den yesterday. Didn't help. Expelling a deep breath, she took her time in walking down to the water, favoring left foreleg because of the deep bite the other day. Having soaked her wounds earlier, she wasn't intending to wash off again, but to swim and stretch muscles and hopefully get rid of some soreness. She shook her fur as she walked, eyes focusing then on the bank and causing her to pause. Big marshmallow she had feelings for was there. WHELP. Cin blinked a few times before walking on toward the bank with careful blank face again. Whether he reacted or not she'd keep on her path without going to close distance between them. "Hadlee's staying," she'd say, wading into the river with a sigh as it washed over her wounds. That felt nice. Eyes would finally stray over to his form, standing with water a few inches up her sides. Why hello there, have any new thoughts?(14:52:13) Vadimir had searched for Nida much of the night with Ammir, but couldn't find her. Was it because his body was sore, or because he was tying to keep up with the younger lad's eccentricies? Perhaps both. Her scent lingered here and there, but thus far he couldn't locate her. Ah well... another time, then. She would be found, and he'd deal with her as he saw fit.... given that another Zod incident didn't occurr again. Detaching, at least for the moment, from Ammi's exuberant side, Vadimir strode toward the water. He was in need of a drink, and perhaps something to alleviate his posterior's groanings. He'd eaten some sweet-smelling mushrooms earlier, hoping they would suffice as wildlife versions of aspirin, but alas. They had yet to take affect. As he approached he saw Drak and Cinn. OHHH. Drak still needed a whoopin' for making fun of him before! Vad flinched and shook his head. Meh. When his booty hurt less, he'd be all over that shit. Until then... no. Bottom too hurty for dat. "Brat," he'd greet, looking to Cinn and noticing her wounds. Whoa... WHO DID DEM TATS? They were amazing. "You look vunderful." Fluffy critter would remark off-handedly, before approaching the water. Assuming it didn't have... some sort of evil-presence lurking within. Bending his head and neck he'd sup a drink, taking several large gulps before he was sated. Then he looked back to the duo, head tilting. They'd been talking, what about? He was about to ask when a strange sensation blossomed in his stomach. Oh... what was that?? He'd glance at his middle, confused, before looking back to them. "Zo--" The feeling flared again, and things began to... distort oddly. It was faint at first, small profusions of color where there should be none. Odd fluctuations in light when there was nothing to manipulate it. Vadimir's eyes grew wide as Drakov changed from purple, to green, to blue, and back again in quick succession. Oh... what the fuck. Vadimir slowly approached, staring at his sibling in awe. Then, with some trepidation, he looked toward Cinn. DEAR GOD. Her top half was a hazy wash of yellows and golds, her face contorted comically. While her lower half was picturesque and rendered in stark realism in comparison with her surroundings. Vadimir shook his head, trying to make sense of it. What the hell were in those shrooms!? "Brat, Cinn..." Vadi groaned, stumbling forward before catching himself. For some reason his centre of balance was off by several degrees to the left. And then a miracle happened. Cinn turned into.. HIMSELF?! "Iz not pozzible..." He whispered, inching toward Cinn on reverent steps. He'd slowly aim to poke her cheek, like omg hi another me from a fantastic world.(15:11:14) Drakov: Though the peak of water was far more shallow than his usual grounds, he wasn't here to swim. Naw, instead body had flopped down to lay within it's depths, head low and floating atop the surface at a sideways angle. That is. Until Cin's presence was noted at the corner of his eyes. With a shake of head he'd lift to a sit, flinging water here and there as gaze followed the womans movements. He wasn't entirely sure what to make of the situation, to be frank. He didn't know whether to be nervous... scared.. if he was in trouble.. if she was upset.. if he should feel guilty.. if he should be happy.. unnerved... His lack of understanding for the whole thing made it impossible for him to even BEGIN to fathom how to react. So instead he just sat and awaited. Spoke his usual blunt and neutral tone. Or.. So was the plan.. Until she spoke and it was solely about her sister. She was even ALIVE? No less allowed to stay?! Tha fuck. Lip curled, canine revealing it'self in distaste. Obvious annoyance at this fact was highlighted by a flick of tongue against his nose. "Staying.... Who says?.." Cin was Queen, sure! She held authority beyond any other rank, damn near side by side with the Tsar. BUT That sure as shit didn't mean Drak befell just ANY decision she made. Or even Vad made, for that matter. He wasn't at all sure he liked the idea of letting that wrench stay AGAIN. Snort ushered forth, though was dismissed by the presence of brother joining the scene. "Brat.. Vhy is Hadlee not dead?" Though his tone made it seem as though it were a duty meant to be fullfilled that was failed, that wasn't the case. It was more an inquiry for information. Had something happend that prevented her from death? She'd left, and returned. In most cases you were cut up right there. What earned her the right to live? He wanted to know, before busting into the scene himself and handling business on his own! Cin's claim for the womans excuses was not justifiable enough to even warrant his acknowledgement at the time being. Course.. It didn't really matter, for he couldn't even continue on with the conversation what with Vad actin' a freak of nature all of a sudden. Single ear twitched in attempt to pull the lack of appendage back, paws shuffling him to stand and inch away in confusion. "Vad..?" Wtf you want?.. Why was he repeating his name, why was he looking at Cin like that? Generally things of this calibur would go right over his head purely due to a lack of care! But it was his brother! Every little thing different warranted his concern. Posture pushed forward so that he could close into the younger males space and sniff about his frame. Had someone hit him? Internal bleeding? What the fuck.(15:45:36) Cinnema waded as far as she could in the water, little distance down where water was a bit deeper. Letting legs not touch the bottom so she floated a little and had to balance and work to keep up. Only for a minute, as eyes stared at Drakov, topic of her sister floating between them. Yes, you can have that but she wasn't going to bring up any emotions NOPE because you blew that off boy. When his expression changed, she shifted higher out of the water to hold herself upright and keep control of herself better. Grounded on the edge of the shore. Her eyes narrowed and ears flicked back slightly. "Staying on a trial.. She knows she has to prove-.." Words faded as Vad arrived on the scene and she was clenching her jaw in frustration, hard stare shifting down to her paws under the surface. Anger was bubbling up again, influenced by her frustration at him and the fact that she'd just barely accepted her sister being around, and he was saying nope.. She didn't bother to finish that statement, as if convinced he wouldn't care about that anyway either. God, Drak, look what you did. Single ear flicked to acknowledge that the younger male had said something about her face, but she stood there stewing until his voice sounded off.. Cin looked to him and watched him stare around and say names over and over. Eyes widened when he turned to her, looking intently, which only concerned her and caused her to take a few paces back. WTF? Putting her whole body on edge in case he did anything, not that she was sure because she didn't know what the hell was going on with him and that was concerning. Yeah he was weird, but this, just wasn't acting like his normal self, especially if Drakov was worried too..(16:04:36) Vadimir was still trying to make sense of what had come over him, but.... well. He wasn't trying so hard anymore. Drak was a gay rainbow and Cinn was his clone. Okay, whatevs. He'd... he'd flip his shit and freak out over it later. But right now... he was too high to give a fuck. When Drak asked his question about Hadlee, Vad started to answer, then paused, glancing to Vad 2. "Vich von of uz doez he mean...?" He asked in a murmur toward Cinn, cause fuck he sure as hell didn't know! Then Drak slowly approached him, his face so horribly cartoonized Vad had to stiffle a chuckle. Oh god, that bugged out eye doe.... He'd said his name while looking directly at him. Oh, well guess that sinched it then. He'd cast an askance look toward Vad 2. GAWD WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME BRUH? "After Cinn," Wait, where the hell had Cinn gone? She'd morphed into Vad 2 and just... ceased to exist.... oh well. She'd show up later, he was sure. Vadimir would continue on with his narrative. "After Cinn got ahold of Hadlee, I azzumed control of ze situation. I asked for her reazons, vich vere unsatisfactory. Zat it vaz our fault she left, for our treatment of ze children." He'd break out into boyish gigglefit, like can you believe that nonsense? ssshh. "Zo I told her she vould vait tomorrow for her zentence. Zere vaz a stranger on ze territory, zo I had to deal vith her first." He'd pause to let Vad 2 chime in, if he wanted. If he remained stoic Vadimir would huff ill-temperedly. FINE. Be that way Vad 2, see if I care. "I fought her and maimed her for tresspassink. Yusef vanted her for hiz own, zo I gave her to him." Struck him then that... oh. He hadn't even found out her name. WELL SHIT. another happy-go-lucky shrug. "I vaz goink to ask Cinn vot she vanted to do before I keeled her." Cause pfft, from the looks of it the previous night, Cinn wasn't opposed to death! "Zince.. had it been my ziblink, and zeir excuse zo veak. I'd have wanted to play a part in zeir demize." It only felt fitting. He'd look around, brows furrowing. "Vhere did Cinn go, anyvay? Zis vould be zo much eazier if she vere juzt here..." DERP.(16:23:23) Drakov stared like wtf bro. Before eyes rolled and his pissy 'ttude made him stroll off in search of something. Anything to fix this. Food maybe? Had he eaten something to rotten? Well.. worth a shot.. STROLLS OFF.(16:49:04) Cinnema's gaze flicked from one boy to the other, confused as hell. Vad kept looking at her like she was someone else, though who he meant she had no idea. Wtf man. Ears perked however to hear talk of her sister and what had gone on while she was pissed as hell and not paying attention to a single damn thing going on. Hmph. Not chiming in until he seemed to not know she was standing right there. Eyes would widen a little at the fact that he was so quick and calm to throw away her sister's life. Not that it surprised her, no, she just didn't wish for such a thing to happen.. Not after they'd talked and Cin knew Lee regretted it for the suffering she'd caused the queen. Surprised look passed across her face as Drakov had the nerve to get up and walk away, leaving her with whatever crazy this was sitting in front of her. REALLY?! DAMN. Lip curled in a silent snarl and Cin turned her head to mr mushroom man. "I'm right here, Vad," she said with a growl. And, if not interrupted, would continue. "And if I could have an opinion on my sister's life. I want her to stay, not die. She knows what kind of pain that put me through for her to leave, and she regrets it. Beat her up, but let her stay and earn her place." A dark look passed over her scarred face, should all of this be heard without being interrupted. Who knew, he was high as hell and maybe wouldn't register this anyway. And this, going on even realizing he possibly wasn't thinking right. "And if she lied to me, and tries to leave again, I'll kill her myself." Cin was done with being abandoned, and her sister probably knew it. She wouldn't deal with that pain again, and meant it with clear sincerity when she said she'd be willing to take Lee's life. A single, and only, second chance was what she was trying to bargain for. She could always be wrong and this would be wasted, but so be it. If that ended up being true, it would be hurting herself more than the Drak or Vad and sure she'd suffer for it. (16:55:35) Vadimir watched Drak move off, the action so sudden and strange, Vad thought about calling after him. But then it occurred to him that, oh. Maybe he was going to look for Cinn to get her feelings on the matter! How thoughtful. Welp... guess he should just, uh... wait with Vad 2 until Drak came back?? Lower end eased into a sit. Back end was still pretty tender. When Vad 2 spoke, and it was not his voice, as he'd expected. But Cinn's, the effect was phenomenal. She came back, though not as she aught. She was the size of a T-Rex, and her canine's were like saber teeth. OHDEARGOD. Vadimir cowered for an instant, like HOLY SHIT NO. But slowly he managed to regain his courage, even if he flinched whenever her face went dismal. What was she so upset about, anyway? Must have been about Hadlee. He could understand that easily. "Really?" What she said was NOT what he was expecting to come out of her mouth. At all. "But... she abandoned you. Vorse, she abandoned you when you vere burdened with pupz." Like, Vad and Drak were shitty parents, no lie. But they hadn't just hit it and run! As far as he was concerned, they'd treated Cinn and the pups with the utmost care and devotion. Reality begged to differ, but hey. He was more quirked in the head than usual! "Cinn..." Ugh. It was so hard to think properly. Even moreso when he was talking to dyno-Cinn. "I know vot lozink a ziblink feelz like." Okay, here goes. Sentimental Vad on crack, HOOO. "It's never eazy..." He began to sway back and forth, as if drunk. Damn balance impairment. "I vaz taken avay from Drak by force. Hadlee left of her own free will.. vot she did to you, regardlezz of reazon. Iz, vaz. Unthinkable. You don't abandon family." His swaying got progressively worse. "You vant to forgive, becauze zey are who zey are..." Gawd damn the world was spinning now. WE'RE COOKIN' WIT PETROL NOW BBY. "Zometimez, I'm still amazed zat Drak haz forgiven me..." Oh okay no Vad. You're getting into DEEP territory ratchet it back! "But how can you forgive her? Are you really okay vith ze pozzibility of gettink hurt again...? Are you really going to put yourzelf through that if she decidez to lead you false vonce more?" Balance be damned, Vadimir toppled over onto his side, but his words were still spoken with strong conviction, far more heartfelt then he ever would have allowed under any other circumstance. Never again.... never again shrooms. They caused nothing but trouble. He didn't want to see Hadlee get away with it. See such actions go unpunished. Beating the crap out of her didn't feel satisfactory. It didn't feel like it was enough. And his still prominent guilt over his own actions, forced or no. Was making him all the more stubborn over the subject.(17:36:30) Cinnema stared again as Vad cowered in front of her, unsure what the hell she had done. In no way could she imagine what was going through his mind of what kind of illusions he was seeing at the moment. Most applicable to her being a gigantic wolf staring down at him and scaring the hell out of him. Though, props for him, for being able to stand up to a monstrous version of herself. As he began to talk however her ears flicked back, uncertainty filling her mind as all this was being discussed. More so even than her own thoughts that she'd be okay with killing her own sister if she so decided to abandon her again, but also influenced by the fact that Vad was over here being emotional and gushing a little. Something she wasn't used to but that he was made his argument sound better to her ears and threw her off track. "Well yeah.." she'd say to initial response to her words, but she was more uncomfortable as he went on. Oh hell, she knew all these things, and it pained her again to think about the possibility of being left again after opening up. "She knows what kind of pain it was I went through, for her to return.. But I-.." she wanted desperately to accept that maybe she would stay, this time. But to risk it, she didn't know.. All of this he was telling her made her even more unsure. With a sigh she'd flop to the ground and lay her head on her paws. "I want her to be around. But, I don't know.." Oh geez Vad good job, made her all indecisive like this. How dare you. She just wanted to be loved and no one seemed to want to love her back, or at least Hadlee was likely going to be killed for it. SIGH.(17:48:48) Vadimir found it easier to pick up on Cinn's body language. She was so damn huge, how could he miss? But even in his unusual state, comforting... still wasn't something he was all that dandy in. He'd failed on Yusef and Zod on many occasions. He had no reason to believe, delirious as he was. That magical shrooms could suddenly gift him with a tender heart. But her words, coupled with her flumping on the ground, had him groaning in dismay. She looked like a goddamn kicked puppy. WHICH WAS DELICIOUS. But in all seriousness... he'd done this. Was all his fault. He could run away, pretend he didn't see how troubled she was. He tried to stand, but to no avail. Then it hit him. He'd be no different then Hadlee. FUCK. Face flopped into the grass and he growled in rustration, blunt claws kneading into the soil and uprooting vegetation as he silently vented. Faq. "She haz to pay. Vith vot... ve'll decide." Grumbleplain, Vadimir looked toward Cinn, trying to think of what to say. He'd open his mouth, when he chanced a glance toward something moving in the corner of his eye. The water, which had been normal, was suddenly verflowin the bank and was steadily creeping toward them. Vadimir shot up, his drunken balance making it difficult but. Nothing got your ass in gear faster then sentient WATER. He'd rush to Cinn's side, back arching and fangs bared as he growled in warning. Sure she was a huge fucking wolf with blades for teeth. But living water? TO HELL WITH THAT. When the water continued to progress and showed no sign of stopping, Vad gathered all strength and courage at his disposal and raced toward the oncoming threat. PROTECT THE QUEEN EEEEAAAUGH!!!! Vadimir bit and snapped at the water, only to find his efforts futile. How did you damage liquid? Was it even possible? Dismayed but unshakable, Vadimir continued his assault, swatting at the water with forepaws whenever he could. Eventually the vindictive enemy would become viscous in consistency, and begin to latch onto his limbs and throat. EGADS, IT GOT HIM! Vicious snarls left Vadi's maw as he struggled wildly, trying to bite through and sever his bonds. He'd eventually be dragged onto his side, but he'd continue fighting on. He'd be damned if he allowed himself to be bested by some stupid drinking water!!!(18:44:11) Cinnema let her eyes glance over him, flopped on the ground as he was because of lack of balance. Man, he needed to get whatever that was out of his system.. Little did she know. Note to everyone, don't eat the nice smelling shrooms. She stared with interest as he seemed to have an internal conflict going on, but if she could guess it was because of her and what was going on with her sister, she would've been surprised. And she was, when he did finally say something. Ears pricked, wondering, questioning, if he was really sparing Hadlee from death. Oh, geez, now it would probably make her feel worse if this really was all a lie and her sister decided to leave. Put Vad through all this trouble for nothing in the end. Why was love so damn complicated?? Only, her thoughts were distracted by the sudden movement of Vad and the reaction as he..growled at the water.. Oh dear god. With surprise, she sat up and looked about, as if there should be some intruder nearby. But..no, he was going after the water. Cin stared hard at him as he flopped about and growled and seemed to be battling some unseen enemy that was.. kicking his tail from how it looked. "Vadimir? What are you doing?" she'd say with exasperation, quite concerned at this point. With cautious steps she'd move forward and stare into the depths of the water, splashing it with a paw, and then staring back at him like WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?! (18:57:54) Vadimir seemed like ol' Vad was going down with the ship! This was bullshit! This was total BS!!!! Cinn's words rung in his ear but faintly, and it took a while before he heard her. When he did, he became so incredulous by what he felt to be self evident, that he entirely stopped what he was doing and sat up to look at her. "Vot doez it look like? I'm protectink you!" DUH. He may have been an ass, but he wasn't a total douche! Totally his catchphrase. Then Vad blinked, realizing that the water was gone. It was back where it belonged. He'd snort, like damn right. You stay there dickwaffle. "Iz zat zo zurprizink?" He'd ask, voice somewhat guarded as he began to groom himself dry. Wow... he knew that he and Cinn weren't really chums or anything. But she was actually going to question his loyalty to her? Dang man, that hurt more than he was expecting it to. "Juzt becauze you aren't Drak. Doezn't mean you aren't... important." He'd mumble begrudgingly, lifting a paw to scrub at his face. Drakov was Vad's world, erribody knew that. But Cinn had proven her worth, thus. She was important too. As important? Was Yusef, Cortes, Zod as important? Vadimir shrunk away from these thoughts. No, This was not what he needed to be thinking about. "You are Queen of Vechnyy. You are vorth protecting, if you've done enough to earn zat rank!" PLAIN AND SIMPLE. Now leave me alone!!! He'd turn away from her then, trying to rise so he could march away. But then the ground rocketed up suddenly, throwing him forward and right onto his face. NATURE WAS CONSPIRING AGAINST HIM. Of course, in the real world, Cinn just watched Vad trip and fall on absolutely nothing. Uuuugggh.(19:15:24) Cinnema just blinked confusedly as he claimed to be protecting her, when she could see plainly that there was no threat in sight! And then he went on, when he realized whatever he was 'protecting her' from was gone, to almost berate her for questioning his actions. Da fuk? She blinked at him a couple of times, her head shaking finally. Would have opened her mouth to say something but he went on, and she was so confused and wondering what the hell had happened to normal Vad who seemed to give no fucks about anyone. Whaaatt eveennnn.. "Vad, I wasn't questioning that. I know. I'd protect you too if you needed it," she'd say, a sort of smile coming to her face. She couldn't help it, this was kind of cute in a pathetic sort of way. It only grew more with him yelling out things and then turning away as if completely done with her. Regardless if he cared if she did or not, Cin would walk up to stand beside the poor tripped up king. "..Thanks Vad." Simple words, but this now was lightening her mood. Hopefully he didn't pick up on the fact that he was amusing her or perhaps he'd turn to attack her instead of a water monster. Ha. If he'd allow she'd attempt to help him up and likely assist him back to the den so he could get some rest and get whatever was going on with him out of his system. Maybe a nap would help? And surely some food as Drak had thought to go get. Ah, she didn't know. (20:07:53) Vadimir vaguely wondered what had brought him to this moment. Then he remembered. Butthumping. Butthumping caused all this misery. Limbs pushed underneath himself, flinching from the motion as he tried to ignore the flare of discomfort from both his arm and buttocks. "Gud, zen don't ever ask me zat again." He spat out dirt, nose wriggling to dispel a pebble. People and their silly questions. He wondered if it was even worth trying to stand. Some force of nature would just knock him on his ass again, without a doubt. Cinn's approach was noted. Strange... for someone so large, how could she be so quiet? Surely for her girth she'd be making the ground tremble! "Vot iz i--" He'd begin to growl, expecting her to give him more smack for his behavior. He was slowly, ever so slowly. Beginning to sober. But of course... the actions of doing so made him all the more aware just how ridiculous he was being. But then she'd come out of her mouth with something he'd not been expecting AT ALL. Vadimir's head shot up and he stared at her wide-eyed, slowly sliding back to ground level as, oops, he forgot he was trying to get himself to stand. ".....Velcome." Vad managed to say, after quite a bit of mouth contortions. Just.... what was she thanking him for? For protecting her, his terrible attempt at comfort, or... something else entirely? When she came to his aid he'd growl initially, unwilling to just accept help. RAWR I'M A BADASS. But... screw it he'd probably get lost trying to get back home on his own. Thinking the trees were going to eat him, or some other nonsense. Unable to think of anything else to say in response, Vadimir would simply let Cinn guide him back, gaze focused toward the floor in the hopes of dispelling his butterflies. Was it the shrooms, or just too many feels up in dis bizznitch?(20:17:21) Drakov: Pale bastard had went about sniffing for the fetus Vad had braught earlier. But no matter how high or low he searched the damned thing just couldn't be found! Ohhh he certainly hoped Vad had eaten it and not Zod... That fucker was gonna have hell to pay if he'd gotten at it despite his command! PFFT! Little shit. Whatever. Rather than search in longer, he went with Vad had eaten it.. Bah. A fetus woulda been perf. Hohum. With a groan, he'd shuffle back to the scene empty handed. A fish would suffice just fine if he couldn't get the fetus. With casual steps, the marshmellow returned and flopped rump on the ground just out the water. "Vadimir." Tone ushered forth in almost demand. "How do you feel?" Was food still needed? He hoped not.. Food, water, a nap!? That was an idea. Maybe put his cray ass to bed. SIGH. Despite speaking to younger brother, gaze shifted to Cin in search of her expression and reaction to his question. How did SHE think he felt?(20:36:13) Cinnema was just smiling softly at him as he went to right himself, her head nodding. "Yessir." She would pause as he'd stare at her, though it wasn't as if she thanked anyone for anything often so oh well. If he wanted to react like that cool. But even through his tough-guy act following she was undeterred from assisting him homeward bound. Until Drak would return and they'd likely pause in response. Ears twitched as he looked at her versus the male experiencing delusions. "He's not too terrible," she'd almost joke, gesturing with her head toward the den. "We were just heading back so hopefully he can get some rest." Almost saying, 'care to help?' but not quite. Whatever he chose, she'd continue on assisting Vad, until they got safely home and she was able to make sure he was lying down safely and not stumbling about. "Get rest, huh?" she'd comment, sidestepping to give everyone space before eyes strayed to Drakov. So...what's up?..merp.(20:47:47) Vadimir being guided by a giant dire-wolf version of Cinn was pretty unnerving, but getting any sort of help was discomfitting, so there was no real point in bitchin'. Land and sky began to gradually return to how they once were, with some peculiarities lingering. When did this nonsense wear off? And why was Cinn suddenly so peppy. Girls were weird. Even as an adult he felt this was the honest truth. Drak's reappearance forced Vad to look up, straining to see him properly. It was as if one eye was still under the shroom's influence, while the other had cleared. Lordy loui this just looked bizarre. "I'm fine, Juzt need a chance to... to zink. Vhere iz Hadlee?" He'd rather have gotten that mess straightened out quick fast and in a hurry. "I zaid I'm fine, Cinn." He'd try to walk unaided, stumbled, and with a masked whine set to appear as a cough, he'd continue with the Queen until he found a suitable place to hunker down. Stupid mushrooms and their stupid bewitching powers. Stupid... Vadimir, now that some semblance of acuity had returned. Gazed upon Cinn and Drak, cocking a brow in unision with a tilt of his head. "Iz... zomezink goink on...?" He was almost afraid to ask. It felt as though a looming storm cloud lay over the trio, the first two of the party moreso than the third. Was Cinn upset at Drak? What for? He pondered, then shortly thereafter came to the conclusion that it must have been about his anger toward's Hadlee's lack of being dead and buried. How... how did one go about fixing this. He exhaled. "Zo..." Snorting giggle interrupted him as he strove to keep a straight face. Drak had just turned cobalt blue and hot pink in his still warped eye. LELELELE. "Cinn vants Hadlee to live, and to be given one final chance... even zo I promized her her death if she ever abandoned her zister." He tried to drop it all as casually as he could. Like ohhey btw this is happening. but he was pretty sure it wouldn't go over that smoothly. When did it ever? Still. He'd give it a shot. FAMILY TIME BEGINS NOW.(20:59:04) Drakov: Flat gaze stared impassively over the duo, only a jerking movement was offered in mild contemplation for aiding his brother home. But he opted against it. "Good." Simple response to everything as a whole, because he clearly had little interest in dwelling on it more than he'd need to. Though concern was still heavy, he had no desire to make it known. Vad didn't seem as though he were dieing, so pissy attitude won in that mental battle. Bah. With a twist in place, he'd shift and walk homeward. Flopping down right along hte rocky structure with a thud, as hind paws poked out to one side. Brows furrowed mildly when Vad spoke up of Hadlee yet again, though younger brother had intent of his own to.. right this wrong.. Drak had his own plans. He didn't give a single fuck what her excuses were. He had no plans of giving her the lap of luxury simply because she was Cin's sister. But.. That being said.. As delightful the idea of killing her sounded, he had a better idea. "Fine. She can stay.." Tone drolled out, obviously eerie and preped to lead into disaster. "Infact she 'as to stay. She iz Rab. Slave. Leaving means I kill her on sight." Oh how blunt of him. Yet... Somewhere, feint as it were, he almost sounded pleased. Mm. "She vill be treated like ze dirt she is, und if she can't fucking handle it like last time zen no more fucking chances." SNORT. Bastard groaned, before head dropped to crossed paws. Only to shift and point gaze the opposite direction the two in a delayed response to his questioning. "Nossings wrong." I call Bullshit.(21:14:27) Vaska had been fast asleep when the trio returned. Snoring and every now and then giving a kick of her legs to signify that she was indeed dreaming. Most of the conversation was missed, but when someone laid down not too terribly far from her she stirred. At first, the formelrly sleep deprived woman just laid there. She didn't feel like getting up yet, but as they continued to talk she finally allowed her body to stir. Head raised and a mighty yawn parted her lips. After another moment or two, those amethyst eyes of her finally opened. Her gaze fell on Vadmir first, then Drakov who was closest to her, and then to the queen, Cinnema. Vaska's head tilted curiously as she rose sleepily to her feet. Those feet of hers carried her to sit closer to Vadmir. "What is going on?" It was clear she was half asleep by the way she slurred her words, but it still held that soft feminine tone that was associated with the dark beauty. Perhaps it was none of her business what the three highest ranking members were talking about, but she still decided that she should question. There might be something she could do to help them! Even in her tired state, she was eager to help out. She considered these wolves her family after all. She didn't lose her tail, and part of her ears for nothing!(21:30:25) Cinnema rolled her eyes as he insisted he was fine. Yeah, alright, she was still going to help him. Because damn it if he started wandering off or fought another monster of his mind, she'd start pounding him in the head. As the others found spots to flop down, she pulled herself into a sit to let eyes wander back to Vad when he recapped what they'd talked about concerning her sister. Ears flicked back for a few moments, but her eyes looked to the other male almost questioningly. Sure, one was on board, but the other? Eyes narrowed a little when he seemed to agree, even on terms she'd almost come to think of. Yeah, Lee would have to earn her place again. She knew that. Except, one thing. She'd raise her head a bit when he was done talking on that. "No. If she leaves I kill her myself." That was NOT something she was going to budge on. If her sister wanted to leave she was going to feel all the pain Cin would go through again. Unconditionally, she would do it. Regardless of his reaction Cinnema would tuck her chin to lick at the fur upon her chest, almost absently. But ignoring the question of anything going on between her and Drak. Hohum, whatever. If he wanted to share that was cool, but for now she didn't care to think about it because he had been an ass etc etc. Until Vaska poked her head out of a crevice and came to join them, she'd continue with that. But green eyes locked on the female, wondering what she'd been up to since the queen had taken her tail. Oh, yeah, that was hidden away somewhere in the den. Unfortunately the tail she'd taken from Zod had been forgotten and left, but she had that one. Slight dip of her head would be given to acknowledge her presence, but otherwise she was content to be quiet for now.(21:50:24) Vadimir listened quietly while Drak gave his directives. Vad had no issue. Frankly he still wanted her dead and her corpse hanging from a tree by her eyeball stems until they decayed. But this was the next best thing, and he was cool with it. "Iz zere to be any further punishment, or zimply juzt her demotink?" Y'know... was she to have some additional limbs removed or anything as further incentive. Forepaws crossed, and Vadimir reminded himself quietly why he was here. For his undying love to his brother. Which, at this very moment. Was having a huffy fit. And clearly it had to do with Cinn. In a roundabout fashion, that reminded him. "Und vot iz to be done about Nida?" Zod had already gotten his cumeuppances. Nida, however, was still nowhere to be seen. She'd left the night before last and, as far as he knew. Still hadn't returned. Vadimir inhaled sharply when the mood turned bitter, and he could tell.. Drak was lying, and Cinn was outright avoiding the question. He could tell... shit was rank. How rank? How does one rate such a thing without more information? He temporarily mulled over the idea of calling Drakov out on his obvious duck-n-dodge, but he decided against it. Better to do that when they were alone. That, and someone came to sit by him. Vadimir would turn toward Vaska, eyes blinking as he tried to remember... who wha... "Oh." He'd murmur softly, recognition setting in. "Pozzibly. Vot have you been doink az of late?" Seemed like she'd been initiated and was now a full member, but where did she stand currently? How much could she be trusted? "Eto ne khoteli, chtoby vy deystvovat', kak etogo brata." He'd say calmly, before rising into a slumped sit. Urgh. Well if they weren't going to talk together. He'd just have to talk to them seperately, and pray... PRAY. Shit gone done. Maybe. Vadimir glanced back toward Vaska, canine digging into his lower lip. "Ve are discussink zeveral issuez. All of vich have to do vith punishment for vayvard actionz." If she was comfortable with the nitty n' gritty, which she'd have to be considering which pack she now belonged to. Then her help could be of good merit. Necessary even, depending on when the shroom funk finally lifted. A POX ON ALL FUNGI.(22:27:30) Drakov: Eyes rolled in his head at the on going conversation. Though it was less due to its content and more because of his own mood. By this point he was being a tad dramatic. Ya know.. Just a wee lil bit. Thaz all. PFFT. He couldn't help it though. What started out as just hormones had warped into a mix of both emotional and physical disdain he couldn't fathom or control. Nida's heat , Cin spilling her feelings then running off. Zod quite possibly knocking up Nida. His jealousy over the young fucker getting to do something HE COULDN'T. Alittle childish sure but whoever said the Tsar was ALWAYS so grown and contained. No body! He had his freak momments and when they occured they were fucking RIDICULOUS. At least it wasn't something that happend all that often. It usually only stemmed from not one situation, but rather many piled ontop of each other. Just as it had this time. Not to mention now Hadlee's return was made to be the icing on the cake. Even more so... All these new members.. While he had a desire to teach, and morf his followers into great truely prideful confident beings!! It was becoming overwhelming. Wayyyy to many faces yo... He was on the verge of cutting off accepting new comers for awhile.. Deal with the ones already on his plat, cut out the unworthy and push the capable into there rightful place amongst the pack before allowing in anymore. Yes. He liked this... Train of thought ceased when Cin spoke up, or more so demanded she be the one to rid Hadlee of her existance. He almost wanted to be pleased, delighted even, at the situation but no. He couldn't. Instead his head turned so that gaze could find the woman and curled lip could be plain as day. With a roll of limbs he'd shift to stand, head hovering over the Queen. "Und if you don't.. If zis happens.. AGAIN.. Because you let her go.. I'll rip you apart in her place!" Because FUCK DIS. He was DONE. Done with what you ask?! Why the wishy washy back and forth of challenging there demands. That and... because Drak was speaking in fury. Duh. He frankly didn't evne NEED a reason to act so irrationally. Atleast, not in his head. He was tussling out how to go about the whole .. love you thing... The lieks of which only grew more detering through Zod's words. Simply because, they were true! And he didn't know what to make of them! Because the reality of it was... If he DID love Cin... like he loved Vad... Then he must also love some of these others fuckers. And suck my dick if he didn't know how to operate under that thought. He cared about Cin, cared about Yusef, cared about Dermo and Zodiak and Cortes.... He CARED. Wtf. Nonono... Caring meant acting without reason. It meant putting himself at risk, it meant making acceptions he normally wouldn't bcause he CARED. Just as he'd done a number of times for his brother. And that just SOUNDED like a disaster in the fucking making. PFFT. No thanks. So yea. It was time to be a royal dick because yo feelz nothnxz. Drak why. Just stahp. Tongue flicked out between teeth so as to glide acrossed his nose, as posture shifted him away from the queen to focus sights on Vad. He stared hard and cold in brothers general direction, simply due to the conversation and movement being had between himself and Vaska. But he didn't really focus until Vad had directed speech his way. In russian, no less. "Fuck off Vadimir." PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT. Done. Someone need a smack in the face. All this shit was building up inside, and by the time he exploded it'd not be in any kind of good way.(23:11:44) Vaska stood silent, and almost nodded off while sitting until she was adressed by Vadimir. Stump of a tail flicked before she parted her jaws to answer. "I've been hunting mostly, sir. I was stalking some deer, but I was too exhausted to catch any of them by the time I caught up." She hoped that her answer was satisfactory, as she had been trying to help out the pack. Even if she hadn't actually brought anything substantial back. Perhaps next time she would bring along someone to help her take down a nice deer for the pack! An eyebrow would have raised as Vadimir spoke in some language that she did not know. Of course, she knew more than one language, but this was one that she did not know of. Dark beauty did not question and instead waited to be addressed by Vadimir once more. "Oh." She spoke in response to his statement of what they were discussing. Vaska chose not to question, because she felt it was not her place. Amethyst eyes moved between the trio quickly noticing that Drakov was not in the best mood. Uh oh. This was confirmed when he spoke a couple of rather rude words to his brother. Double Uh oh. Ears flicked back and she scooted a little bit away from Vadimir. If a fight were to happen between the Tsars, she did not want to be in the middle. She would be torn to pieces!(23:24:24) Cortés had returned from bathing by the river. His surprise battle with Val had left a few marks along his chest and underside, his tongue a bit bloodied as well. Though they were now beginning to scab over, a healing process that usually took a couple days. Though now he was back, eye wide, and a curious expression befalling him as he came upon the scene. A smile courted his lips as he padded over. "Hola, mi familia," he paused, looking toward the Queen. "Mi Reina," he bowed his skull and turned to Drak and Vad. "I have things I wish to discuss with you all, care to listen?" Cortes lowered himself, rump hitting the ground, and tail swaying in slight happiness. He always enjoyed company with his Maestro, and seeing the man there always brought a heap of bliss. Still, this was business, which meant staying professional. So he lowered his smiles to a mere neutral line.(23:37:43) Valiria had been tearing apart the tree the Cortes had dressed up for her. The brwanches were thick, and took quite a knocking from the gal before, one by one, they were puled off the damned thing. Over the course of the few days sicne the assignment was given, Val's jaws had become quite sore. So, when she returned to the courtyard, and found her mentor there, well she had little to no desire to pounce on him again. After his presence was noted, the weight of the tension among them all hit her like a bag of angsty bricks. Wrinkling her nose a bit, and letting out an exhausted huff, mutt trotted forward to join the fray. She took a seat a bit aways from the majority of them, giving them all short respecful nods, and a cheeky wink towards Cortes. Whatever that was for. Hmm. What could be going on today.(00:06:18) Cinnema was no longer totally focused on the conversation, but once Drak stood up to stand over her like an angel of death. Her eyes narrowed and she wanted to stand up and push her face to his, just to prove she fucking could. But she held herself back if only because she worried what her actions would case him to do. A slight growl would utter from her throat nonetheless and she'd stare green eyes into his multicolored ones. "And I'd deal with it. If she leaves, without us knowing. I'll find her and kill her. She will not get the chance to leave me again." She said it with such certainty that sort of shocked even herself. A moment later, only, she lowered her eyes and head, and reached forward to apply a lick to his chin. She still knew she'd follow him in any situation and he was still the only star in her sky, even with all this tension and shit that was going on and causing problems. Even when she was totally pissed off at him at the moment again. Her focus shifted away from everything that was going on, Vaska around and talking to Vad, etc. She didn't care to pay any attention, especially when it didn't have anything to do with her directly. But, when Russian words were spoken. Cin lifted her head to look between the Tsars. Ears pressed forward as she realized, wow, Drakov was smarting off to his brother. Her jaw clenched and she pushed herself to stand with a dark look crossing over her face. Okay, this was ridiculous. And she couldn't just accept that it was likely stemming from something she'd caused, aka the situation with Hadlee. With light steps and quite a pained look on her face she'd move to stand in front of him. "Okay, seriously." Her loud voice quivered even though she didn't want it to and she'd pause, getting breathing under control. She was just, so, eugh. Upset. "If it's bothering you that much, kill Hadlee. Get her out of the way. I'm not going to stand here and watch you act like this even around Vadimir. It upsets me far more than not giving a second chance to someone who's already left once." She fucking cared, it was bothering her like hell to watch him act like this. And, if that helped, so be it. She wasn't on super great terms with Lee right now anyway.. It was just a hope she wouldn't turn around and leave again. Ears flicked back, almost in regret. "And forget what I said if that would make things better. Not that it changes anything either way." Even though she was likely digging a hole for herself, she shook her head and would walk off hopefully before anyone could even react, going into the den to curl up in a corner and likely think for a while before finding sleep. Not even noticing the others who'd showed up or acknowledging them. She was just so tired and Drak was being a dick so whatever. Stupid feelings.(00:32:50) Vadimir tried to indulge Vaska as she spoke. She was trying, he saw she was. And while he barely knew her, he... you know what. Shrooms acting up again. Yup. He'd blame it on the shrooms, even though, logically. They'd all but wore off by now. "I zee. I'll have to zet you up vith zome tasks zoon zen, if no von beats me to it." Cortes arriving on the scene was noted, and Vad would rise to offer him a light nudge on the side. They still had some bro stuff to discuss, but hell there was too much drama to be had at the moment. "Evenink Cortez." Now standing Vadimir looked toward Cinn and Drak. He couldn't even begin to try and figure what he was to do about these two. They couldn't be a pack if there was internal strife. But how did he go about making things better? Vad knew how to cause suffering, dismay, and get things to go his way by force or cunning tactics... not reasoning, diplomacy... egads. Kindness. Those were sources of leadership he knew virtually none of. He'd been forced to utilize it in the past few months, but... his triumphs were weak, at best, and his efforts often misguided or drawn up irregular, thanks to his own upbringing. It was a constant frustration that threatened to reak him, as Drak was now. But he couldn't break. If he did, there would be no one to reign the Tsar's in. And if one King had lapsed, it was the duty of the other to see him back on his feet. That is what he had told Ammir, wasn't it? He'd become Tsar not for fame, fortune, power. But to ensure Drak always had someone he knew he could depend on, through anything. That he wasn't alone. YOU SEE THAT. HE'S GOT HIS REASON. THANKS AMMIR. Drakov's rise and show of irate dominance left Vadi's face shadowed, and when Val showed up he issued a warning growl. This could turn nasty in seconds... but he couldn't have been any more prepared than Cinn was when Drak spoke toward him directly. Vadimir, for a moment. Couldn't quite believe what he'd heard. Vad knew the in's and outs of physical pain. He relished it, both inflicting it on others as much as feeling it himself. But emotional pain... that was something he.... he wasn't used to. And To hear it from his brother, his world, his everything. Jaw worked steadily, and it took a goodly amount of effort to remain where he was. But when Cinn-- Cinn --was the one to stand up for him, to place herself before him. He didn't know what to think anymore. The world had gone upside down. He breathed, mastered his emotions. Not well, but. It would have to do, or else he risked ruining everything. EVERYTHING. He couldn't, he wouldn't. Vadimir moved forward quickly, aiming to come beside Drak even as Cinn began her solitary march toward the den. He wouldn't say anything, only stare at his brother and utter a soft whine. "Brat..." He'd whisper, not breaching the gap. Not until he knew for certain. If Drak needed him... he was there. He wouldn't be leaving for a second time. No. If Drak allowed further aproach, Vadimir would close in, uttering a soft chuffing sound. "Na moyem pleche, ty vsegda privetstvuyutsya. V moyem serdtse, vy vsegda budete ostavat'sya. Vy vozdukh, kotorym ya dyshu, svet v moikh glazakh... Krov' v moikh zhilakh, teplo, delayet pod"yem. Tak chto prikhodi ko mne, ptichka. Plach', krik, krik....." He'd sing softly, edging closer in the hopes of placing cold nose to warm cheek. If he got that close, he would continue to more verses, each telling a deeper story. A lonely songbird without a home, with no one to listen to it's beautiful song. Drak was Vadimir's songbird, and he'd hear his song, no matter what shade it took. He'd remain there, pressed firmly against his brother. He'd saved his life from an avalanche. And now, he fully intended to save it again. From the one force Drakovski knew not how to combat: Himself.(01:35:42) Drakov: Blank stone cold expression never wavered, even when Cin's chosen method of response was given, "I don't give a fuck about Hadlee. Her punishment IS Rab! Rab is DIRT. It is SUFFERING. She iz but a toy for all of Vechnyy's pleasure. She does not leave, she does not eat." In a sense.. Being allowed to live WAS the punishment, for in doing so she faced no one torture but many. Unless she could break free of such status through proving herself. She would remain foul and degraded and tortured until she died. HUFF. After harsh words of sentence were given, Drak would pay little to no more attention to Cin. Especially in regards to ... uhem.. There talk. Nothnxz. Don't think about that it'd only make it worse. Nod. Instead!! Attention had fallen entirely on Vadimir. Hackles rose, nubbed tail flicking in irritation behind him as he stared and watched younger brother approach closer. Body came so close to warding him through physical communication, but with a deep intake of breath he forced himself to mellow jsut enough to allow the close proximity. No. He didn't want to. To be frank.. He didn't want to even love his own brother in that very momment! Not because he was exactly pissed at Vad, but because of what it meant to love him. He'd vanished once already, and it'd torn him apart. Then Cin had come into his life and filled that void, it'd fixed him. It'd given him someone else to love. Then they'd split.. And by the time he'd met them all again he'd changed. Sure they were of importance, still. But he'd pretty much forced away love along time ago. Though he did not realize he'd done such a thing, it had happend!! So now that it was breaking free? He was in a state of panic. Caring about Vad was bad enough.. The risk of him vanishing again... But now his emotions wanted to drag Cin into that mix of things?! Apparently not only Cin but several others as well!? Then what!? Then wtf when they vanish. Or even worse.. When they NEEDED him. He didn't know how to DO THIS. He knew how to fight for what he wanted, how to survive. Not how to.. live. Damn. He hadn't even noticed that. He didn't know how to live. He just survived. MIND FUCK. SNAP. Eyes closed, lip curling as contact of nose met cheek. Teeth so much as parted an inch or so in preperation to rip his mother fucking face off but he held himself together. Luckily enough.. As steam before to poor out in the form of a raspy cracked growl due to Vad's singing vocals, Cort arrived on the scene. WELL HELLO CORT!!!!. Eyes opened, and head snapped around to meet him. Expression was signifcantly lighter, though still hard to read. Response would even be delayed, but after a momment it came none the less. "Proceed.. Cort.. Vhat iz it?" (01:59:32) Yusef dragged himself out of the den. He was sore and exhausted because he'd spent the whole entire night running around trying to catch and kill things to bring home. And so when he paraded (sleepily) out of the den, he carried with him a half-desiccated corpse of a fawn, which was really only the head, front legs, and a dragging spinal column. And he expected to get some instruction on how to hunt larger prey, but instead he was met with THIS TENSION-FILLED DRAMA FEST. His eyes grew wide and he scrunched up his nose for a long moment, recalling the heart-to-heart conversation he'd had with Vad not too many days previous. He gauged the situation for a long moment... Yusef finally nodded as if affirming something to himself, and headed over to place his deer carcass in front of Cort, and then placed himself between Drakov and Cort, before lifting a paw and patting his own fluffy chest,"We fight now." Drak looked upset, confused, and angry at something. Yusef didn't exactly know WHAT but fighting made him feel better, right? They weren't as close as he and Vad, but.... Still he was important, still he was close, and still, he needed attention. "But ve use no teez. We use heads, feets, bodiez." OHOHO, Someone setting rules to play by?! He picked up a rock and held it in his mouth to keep his jaws occupied, and then waited.(02:27:56) Vadimir held the contact for as long as he could. When Drak growled, bared his teeth, stiffened. Vadimir's only reaction was to allow his song to drifted off into it's conclusion, and when it did he would step back, after giving Drakov's cheek a little lick, as if to say love you k. He'd back away slowly, though only just far enough so that big bro had breathing room. There, now don't we feel beeettteeerr? Probs not. It would take a lot more than that to make things fine and dandy again, but fuck it Vad had patience. Not usually, but... where it counted. He had patience. When Cort spoke of a matter with which they needed to hear, Vad turned to him expectantly. But attention was quickly thiefed by the appearance of Yusef, looking positively bawler. "Fine catch." He'd say lightly, trying to resume some air of normalcy. Vadimir had NOT been butthumped, doing drugs, and then helping his brother on their joint emotional journey. Nope, none of thse things were things Vadimir C. Vechnyy had or would ever be accused of. PSH NO. Seeing Yus come to the fore, after setting the fawn back within the confines of the den, presumably for Cinn. Vad was surprised when the miniature version of himself and Drak demanded a brawl between him and his second father. WELL NOW. "Zat zounds like a marvelouz idea. Don't you zink zo too, brat?" He'd blink teasingly, smile spreading on his chops. "Let uz zee you try to best a Soldat." OOOHHHH. Dem be fightin' words. Was he placing his bets on Yusef? Nope. Did he know Drak was to win? Nope! He just wanted to rile brother up. Forget about all the horsecaw ball-dingle for now and do something fun. And what did the brothers enjoy more than anything else? Why, being told, or in this case implied. That they couldn't do something, only to prove them dead wrong!(S'all I have)
